What kind of Internet connection do you use?

Just curious, what kind of internet connection do most of you have?
I think this is an important question to answer as at least it gives us, me at least, an idea what kinda of materials to post.
Eg: If i post a high resolution picture(NOT PORN), videos(AGAIN NOT PORN!!!), i really don't want to clog up your bandwidth....so please take the poll.

I suppose some of use use multiple kind of connections. As for me, I use both broadband, wireless broadband (kinda lousy) and dial-up. Most of the time, I use dial-up, that's why I voted for dial-up.

get streamyx la... promo now, only rm88/mth for 1mbps... i can't tahan the speed of dial-up after getting used to broadband... :)

i use dial-up - spend about rm 120 per month on home internet access - timenet access by time telekom - they charge a premium for NON-premium service.

condo doesn't have a telekom line (not available) - so cannot apply for streamyx. condo phone line is a time telekom line - so also cannot apply for tmnet or jaring!

i'm stuck! cannot wait to move to my new place early next year... then it'll be broadband!

I'm now at my in-laws in Pasir Mas, Kelantan. I feel crippled without a broadband connection.

And furthermore their dial-up internal modem had been fried by a lightnight strike and I fixed a new one on just 3 hours ago. And this machine seemed to be infected by spyware & adware by the truckloads.

Wednesday we drive to Sitiawan where I'll be having fun with more dial-up. It will only be until next Sunday where I'll be back to my sweet, sweet broadband.

Until then, THE PAIN! THE PAIN!!

You guys got it good... it's £25/month here for 750kbs, uncapped. But broadband is worth it... esp when 'browsing' thru P2P networks (which apparently make up >75% of total internet traffic)

long live broadband and wireless internet!!! there was a 1 week period when i had to be on dial up, i tell you, i nearly did not survive not being online 24-7. i even get gatal tangan about the internet even during vacation time. my parents' dial up connection just makes me want to cry. sorry, yop (hisham), but sunday will come soon enough!

hehe, mine is even better. Apply one streamyx line and 2 houses is using...sheesh! Since Crackjet is staying next door and he being an expert, we install a wi-fi at our machine and... viola... both of us is sharing a streamyx line.

In office...whoosh, pretty fast. Sometimes when on the run use Pocket PC via wifi...tak boleh tahan. Slow like kura kura.

broadband now very affordable. recently streamyx upgraded all 512 lines to 1MB for the same monthly fee (RM 88 i think). anyway i am using Time Webbit, wireless modem connectivity, quite stable, cheap, fast and no need prerequisite telephone line. but Time now servicing only PJ area.
