Ghost protection

OK, here's some believes of the hoteliers :

Every single hotel, there shall be at least a permanent room which should
be left vacant at all times. No matter how full the hotel are, they are not to sell that room(s) to any guest.
It was said that special room was "reserved" for those "special visitors".
So, if you plan to stay in some hotel, always book in advance.
Try to avoid walk in. If the receptionist told you there's no more room available, do not insist one anymore or try to bribe them to give you a room. If you do that, most of the time the room you have will be that "special room". Sometimes those "special visitors" might go to other rooms also,
so here's some tips on how to protect yourself:

- Before entering your room, always knock on the door first, even you now the room is vacant.
- After you enter the room, if you felt very cold suddenly and have "chicken spore", leave the room quietly immediately and go to reception to request to change room. Most of the time the receptionist will understand what's happening.
- After you enter the room, immediately switch on all of the lights, and
open the curtain to let the sun light in.
- before you go to bed, arrange your shoes so that one of them is upside
down. Some say this is representing yin & yang to protect you while you're
asleep.
- Always leave at least a lamp on while you're sleeping, preferably the
toilet's lamp.
- If you're staying alone and they have give you a twin bed, do not sleep
with the other bed vacant, try to put your things like luggage on the other bed before you sleep

Because the Asian ghosts you know only roam back home and don't travel overseas. Also, you have to admit that the Chinese/Asian movie's ghost gives you more shivers than the gwailo's ghosts...
i think it's all the association stuffs at home, like come cheng beng period or hungry ghost month, there's so much relics left by the road side etc etc... here at least ghosts tend to just come out from graveyards (or what i see in movie anyway) so when you don't see one, there's no such links...

(psst... i have seen ghosts when i was a kid, not funny at all.... thinking about the incident still managed to increase my heart beat to double the normal rate...!)

talking about ghost in hotels, my aunt stayed in a hotel in KL <chinatown, to know hotel name, PM me la...can't publish it :D otherwise must engage song's wifey's services ...>...dem spooky place....since they are senior execs, they get a room each mah..while my aunt was sleeping, she felt that something was tickling her toes, but she disregard it ..thinking it was a figment of her imagination...but she was a little freaked out..so she moved and stayed with her colleague ....at the end of the week, just before checking out...she and her colleague walked past her room,forgeting that it was her room, she told her colleague "come let's steal ppl's newspaper!!" just as she was taking the paper, a voice whispered to her ."bye bye!!" freaked her out immediatedly, mind you it was in the morning already....after that, everytime, they have to attend anything in KL, she will request NOT to stay in the hotel every again!

Wah..all these hotel stories..makes me feel geli lah.
This one related by my colleague to me...her uncle went to one of the hotels after heavy gambling and drinking (can gues where?). He was a little high on drinks but was still aware of his surrounding. He went to his room, switch off the lights and lie down to sleep. But as soon as his head touched the pillow, the lights are on again. Thinking dat he may have forgotten to switch off the lights, he switch them off again. But after the same thing repeat itself two time, he knew something was wrong so he said out loud ..'if you want me to leave this room, switch the lights off and on again'..and that is exactly what happened... He left the room immediately and went to his friend's room next door. that night, they could both hear a party going on in the room he left vacant...

She opened the door to her department (she had the key) and went in..but as she was nearing her workstation, she notice a shadow of a person sitting at the desk before her workstation.. (bulu roma all naik) but she didn't want to risk leaving her bag there. She mustered up courage, walked past the 'person', grabbed her handbag and left the place as fast as she could.

From that day onwards, she can sense someone following and watching her all the time. Finally, she reported to her boss and he reported all the way up. Then they got a feng shui master or ghostbuster to come in and 'pik che'. Those who witnessed the ceremony testified that the ghostbuster took an empty bottle and started chanting....after a long while, they see something greenish in the bottle and he quickly covered it with a cap.

Dem!! Sounds like exactly what happened to this current office of mine. But not this company of mine lar. The previous company which occipied this shoplot kena disturbed and had to call in some sifu to kaotim the entity with bottle and all.

Seems like not fully cleansed. Had never stayed back after dark alone.

The story took place during the 7th month of the Chinese lunar calendar and revolved around a young lad named Sam.

Sam at that time was working as a general worker, in a small company
located at Tuas.

During one particular working day, the whole of Sam's company was requested to work OT in order to meet a deadline due tomorrow. By the time everything was done, it was already past 12 am and Sam was the last person left in the office.

He was left wondering whether there were still any bus services at this hour.

He decided to try his luck and quickly tidied up the office, locked up and rushed towards the bus stop.

The bus stop was situated by a small narrow road with dense forestation surrounding the area.

Sam waited for about 20 minutes and was about to make his way to the
main road to catch a cab when a double deck bus appeared from nowhere.

He hesitantly waved it down, boarded the bus and the only person he saw on
the same bus was a frail ghastly looking old woman.

The old woman was dressed in white samfoo and black pant, attire favoured by maids in those early days or "Ma Jie" as they were commonly known then.
Sam felt uneasy upon seeing her and was about to go up to the upper deck when a voice ranged out in Cantonese, "Young man, don't go upstairs. Upstairs dangerous."

It was the old woman. Her comment sent a chill through Sam's bones and he figured that the upper deck might be "dirty". He decided to heed the old woman's advice and grab a seat at the lower deck even though he felt uncomfortable by her presence.

It was an agonizing 20 minutes journey before Sam reached his bus stop.

He quickly alighted and turned to steal a quick glance at the old woman, who stared right back at him by the window. Without further ado, Sam hastened his pace and was fortunate to reach home safely.

The next day, Sam was requested to work OT and ended up being the last person left in the office again.

It was already past midnight and Sam was contemplating whether to take a cab home but decided against it in the end as money was tight.

So he made his way to the bus stop again and after about 20 minutes, the same double deck bus appeared.

Sam boarded the bus and saw the same old woman again. He decided to go to the upper deck again when the old woman called out to him, "Young man, don't go upstairs.

Upstairs dangerous." Even though, he heard it before, he still felt a certain fear inside him since it's the 7th month. To be on the safe side, he reluctantly took a seat at the lower deck again and reached home with no incidents.

The third day, Sam was asked to do OT again. By now he was feeling dreaded and worried as he didn't want to repeat the same process again.

But he obliged nevertheless since it's his livelihood. He was, you guessed it,
the last person left in the office again. He made the same journey to the bus stop, occasionally checking his back as he walked.

The double deck bus arrived, he boarded it and saw the same old woman again. As he proceeded to go upstairs, the old woman warned him again,
"Young man, don't go upstairs. Upstairs dangerous." Sam was fed up with the old woman by now and decided to go upstairs even though he was feeling a bit scared. He saw no one else when he reached the upper deck and slowly made his way to the back of the bus and sat down.

Sam's heart began pounding away as he waited anxiously for something to happen.

After 30 minutes, with nothing happening, Sam went downstairs to confront the old woman and asked her why she kept saying it's dangerous upstairs.

The old woman turned, stared at him and replied, "Young man, don't go upstairs. Upstairs dangerous. Upstairs got no bus driver."

hmm, was in KDU, we always lepak at friend's place near Tivoli Villa, sometime even sleep there. it has a penunggu. it lived 'in the walls' those who slept there sometimes get pushed off the beds, I was unfortunate enuff to be a 'push'ee, always felt unwelcome presence when it happens. The house was 'cleaned' when friends parents came back to leave in Malaysia from Kuwait.

Where I work now one of my fellow auditor keep insisting he regularly follows a regular Klang ghostbuster cleaning up ethereals and shipping them to the Klang river. Invited me to follow and verify his claim,but I thinks I'd rather not know. Moslems are told that humans are NOT the only inhabitants of Earth, but all of us are God's creations, and hence the ultimate fear should be reserved for the fear of God's displeasure.

And dont get me started with the things that have happened at my office, especially those that arrive early, apparaently there is a 'transfer window' where the ofis occupants sometimes 'brushed against' those that put up there every nite...... :worried:

So We met & Idecide to rent the house. I begin to clean the house & preparing move in to it. Everything was fine until the day I move in.

My first night there. I was so tired after shifting. About 2.00 am, I realised that there is a big giant in front of me. I try to ignore him as I was too tired. In a flash the being was holding on to neck trying to strangle me. :eek: The being said that I destroy something that belong to him while cleaning. I started to shout I & curse. The strangling got more intense! I remember a prayer, I kept reciting it & it let me go. I was sweating all over.

Later (I can't remember when), the old Lady came to me. She started scolding me "Hey, boy! What do you think you are doing? :mad: This is my house & you move all my things away. How could you?" I told her "You are dead, you shouldn't be here". She replied "What dead? You are dead". :huh: I was trying to explained to her & she kept scolding me. After a while she left the house very unhappy.

My dad went to Russia or maybe Ireland (i think), for business one time.
It was late at night and he wanted to find a place to rest before catching a flight home the next early morning. So, he just checked in to this hotel. Somehow, he was being put in this particular room where he felt chilly once entered the room. It was dark and dim...

My dad then was feeling a little hungry and ordered hot chocolate. Then the beverage came and it was still very hot, so my dad left it on the table and went to take a shower while letting the drink cooled.

When he came out of the toilet, the hot chocolate was half empty!!!! And the main door was locked and he looked around the room.. small and no one else was in there...

It scared the shit out of him man... so he just packed and left the hotel. He's rather sleep in the airport than staying in that creepy room!!

ok. tell u a true story happen to me when my father passed away during my standard 5/6. cant recall liao.

as you know, 7 x 7 = 49 days, every believer in buddhist saying that the spirit of the dead will come back to the house for visitation. so apparently, my mum did ask my whole family to go to back early that days... around 10pm. so i went to sleep at my mum's room, on the floor where my head is facing the room door.

so during early hours, (cant recall what time), i suddenly wake up for no reason and feel like disturd in my heart. so i just turn around and see there is a shadow behind the door. how i can know? becoz there is a small gap underneath the door. so i see "someone" is walking left to right... and then stand there, feel like looking at me. so i keep my eyes close and ignore it. after 5 to 10 mins, i opened my eyes again and see the figure walking left to right again. non-stop. so i was sooo scare that time and walk my mum but my mum couldnt say anything and ask me to go back and sleep.

so when i wake up the next day, i went down together with my mum. then we found out that the kitchen door is open half way. so we thought someone is opening it during at night. so went to enquired my siblings and found out none of them coming down that night. so guess that is my "father" who open the door. see some of the kitchen utensil is not in the right position...

so we quite frighten after we know it and we act calm becoz is our father who did it... :D

i accept Christ during a MYF camp in year 1995, right after my form 5 exam. so after reach home, that night alone. I cant sleep well. so tried to sleep n finally doze off. after a while (dunno wat time is that), i suddely wake up by some "force". when i opened my eyes, i cant see anything in my room, cant move, cant speak, cant hear anything. (my room is facing on the road side where it have street light shinning to my room, so kinda bright). so that time i was soo panic... feeling something is pressing against me, in my chest. so i tried to scream, cannot. try to wake up and run out, cannot.

so i remember during camp time, one of the members did share it to me b4. so i just pray but in "cheating" way, just in my mind saying "In Jesus Name" for few times, but still cannot. still the same. so later i heard, what Jesus Name... useless. So i lagi panic on the moment and gave it another try. so this round, i pray in full like Dear Jesus and bla bla bla... then finally i can feel my finger is moving, little by little. and finally once i manage to move my whole hand, wholla... whole body can move and i wake up in sweating... and fearing...

i think this is pretty normal for young christian. many ppl share with me b4 and i teach them how to prevent it.

i heard it from my friends... it happen last time - somewhere around our former headmaster house at kampung cina there... previously have single storey house and opposite of it is a rubber and palm plantation...

it happen when my friends lepak at the place, one of my friends house at the corner (near hutan area). so when they hang around on the tar road and chat, suddenly they hear someone crying but when turn around, no one is there. this happen a few times...

until my friends spotted a green object walking like a crap style - right to left, out from the plantation to the other side of the road. so my friends quite angry and thought someone playing with them. so they rode the motorbike and approach the "thing". when reach there, they call the "thing" and it ignore them. so they run toward the "thing" and stop right in front of it. they saw the face like a baby face and greenish color. so they ask the "thing", what you doing here and why you play a fool with us? after a while, the "thing" started to cry and tt's frighten them. sound like a man crying and in very loud tone. so they frighten and run away... until reach to their friends house. when they turn, the greenish thing is gone. so most of them saying they saw a toyol and next day fall ill.

toyol is famous for those rich biz family. rare a premature or dead baby during deliver or pregnancy stage, and put it in the jar at home. everyday will feed the baby with blood. one drop. when the baby satisfy, he/she will do whatever the master have told them, like stealing money, scare ppl and etc...

some ppl even fed the baby with their monthly period whisper *ewww* and put it in front of the jar. next day is gone...

the baby can be good and can be very naughty if u treat them bad and didnt feed them enough. will cause chaos at home... baby only operate at night when everyone is sleeping.

oh izzit?...once my mum went to a medium with my aunt b4 to ask about my grandma who passed away around 6 month b4. My mum said the medium really can tell her all about my grandma and grandpa, even the location of her coffin the medium is able to pinpoint correct. Not only that when my grandma go up to the medium body to communicate, she can say all our house history correctly where it is impossible to for other ppl to know. The ghost of the previous maid asked Rosa to help her avenge her death. More like a suspense thriller by MediaCorp Raintree Production. Unfortunate for the previous maid, The landlord's retarded son *raped* her, so the father killed her to seal her lips and put her in one of those chinese opera's drum!! Anyway, everything is eventual. She got her revenge and Rosa brought her ashes back for proper burial. But, I think the "ghost" effects was done by a Thai Film Co. that specialize in those graphic effects, consider state-of the art in ghost movie.

know the reason why sometimes u can see some latern putting on the road side... when someone pass away (nearby)...

2 reasons:

1) to direct the human being (alive and kicking) the direction where is the place...
2) to help the "passed away" spirit to come back to the house, becoz they have wander away and need direction to come back...

my mum elder's sister husband pass away quite some times ago near the old kampung koh wet market (still remember the place). the husband pass away somewhere along the road. when called the taoism sifu, the sifu said the spirit is not yet coming back yet due to sudden death and *blur*... dunno where he is.

so the sifu do a ritual worship at the place where my uncle pass away. so he tried many times and the spirit refuse to follow... after several trying, then he manage to follow the sifu back to the house...

some spirit, when they sudden pass away, they dunno where to go. so have to called their name and charm them to come back... otherwise will become wanderer spirit in kampung koh wet market area...

Then my friend (with gifted eyes) sitting in the second car used his handphone to contact the friends in the car in front to stop throwing the papers and fortunately the friends in the front car finally stopped doing their stupid act.

They reached home safely and the housemates suspected that my friend is
hiding something from them about the phone call because my friend also very well known with his gifted eyes.

At first my friend didn't want to tell to his housemates what actually happened but after some persuasion, he finally told the reason. He said, during their time throwing the pieces of tissue paper, he saw a lady in a
red dress sitting on their car bonnet and a small little child jumping around the car roof.

My friend said that maybe the tissue paper attracted that 2 things because
according to some old chinese movie, people throwed some "passing road
paper" during a funeral. After his housemates listen to his explanation they start to worry and was scared.

Then they asked him where did those things go? Did they disappear after they stopped throwing the tissue? My friend answer "no, I can stil see her outside of our house right now, she looks very angry staring into our house with the little child running around her"............but luckily nothing happened to them after that night so I advise you guys better don't simply throw any stuff from your car windows, especially at night...who knows you might get something special in return :confused:

i've one story when i came to KL for holiday, i think is interact club thingy (cant remember). we stay at one of the uni pendidikan. so my friends and i get to stay on the corridor of the hostel... one room - 2 person. so as usual, at night, we plan to run around and play around by knocking ppl door and etc... so we hide in the room and play poker until mr. patrick come over and scream at us... so we kena scolded and went back to our individual room. after 30 mins, we back again and play. the corridor is quite dim and hardly see anyone if 30 meter away...

around 12 midnight plus, we getting ready to sleep. so few of us went to bathroom to brush our teeth and etc.... then proceed to go back to our room. so one of my friends havent brush the teeth yet asking me to company him to go brush teeth while chit chat lah...

so we go in and while he brushing type. suddenly heard someone in the cubicle washing some cloth... so we thought who the hell washing cloth at tis hour. so we ignore. the sound getting louder n louder until we ask who is the fella. once asked, the sound stop and we c'nue. then it come back again and we feel unconfortable. so we quickly do our biz and run out. as we reaching to our room, we hear the sound louder (the bathroom and my room is around 20 meter away). so we lock ourselves at room and scare.

after a while, we plan to go and see. as we step our room, we snap some light (disco type) is running on our next room. i thought is empty mah... no one and the padlock is lock somemore... so who the hell doing it? so lagi panic until whole day. cant sleep well. so the next day, we saw someone in the room and apparently just move in today... and we left the hostel...

so highlight it to mr. patrick and he said is normal coz the dorm is haunted. this is not the 1st time he hear... so we all kept quiet until we reach sitiawan.

There are mandatory tests that Scouts need to pass to be King Scout like first aid, camping, etc. Everyone assume swimming is mandatory as well until that incident happened. For a scout not to know how to swim is like a doctor not know how to use a needle ma... where got fun :eek:

Swimming and phlebotomy is just an easy as it can be. Nowadays, with vacutainer, more easy according to nurses here. But, must also need to have good veins... :D
