Do share what (in ur opinion) is MOST IMPORTANT in Life. Is it people, things, responsibilities, feelings - well...anything at all...whatz ur say? Feel free to include d reason(s) as well...
Thou 4m d same alma mater, the course of life would have made each individual's priorities different, at different stages of life. Hoping 2 get a wide range of interesting replies - whether u r a 'somebody' or a 'nobody'...lets start forumming! ;)

IMHO Health is the most important thing. As i said in a previous thread......love,kindness,riches and every other thing cannot be appreciated without we ourselves having good health. If you have good health, you can work, you can play, you can show affection and you can appreciate life. So all you fatties sitting on your bum...go out and excersise. It makes a difference to the quality of life!! :)

As I posted yesterday, to me, HEALTH is the most important thing. If you have good health, everything else is almost achievable.

I think it's important to have a balance ..
if we have health without love, we will be very lonely....
if we have money without health and love, no one to share the wealth with..and money will be spend on hospital bills..

Well, there are a lot of things that are considered important: Health, wealth, family, etc.....A wide range of what different people can say.
I think for me, I would say love is the most important thing. Without love, life has no meaning.
Anyway, on another thought, balance is the most important thing. If you can't keep a balance of life to see the different things you wish to see, you will never be happy. It always pays to be balanced in your life; money, time, and etc.

I would say Love come in top priority. With good health but no love ones by your side what is the point. Where there is Love, the health will come automatically cos you are happy. That two thing actually blends together.

well roland...i do not have d answer to that Q...depends on the individuals i guess. i think all that u have mentioned above (BOLDED PARTS) + what we have encountered in life so far contributes to the order of prioritizing things in our life.
Hah...i just came across some quotes..lemme share them here, hope its appropriate
~ The IDEAL of life is just to LIVE IDEALLY
~ To live is to CHOOSE (Freedom is the right to choose:the right to create for oneself the alternatives of choice - Thomas Jefferson)
~ When u learn how to DIE, u learn how to LIVE - 4m Tuesdays with Morrie
~ Life should be a pattern of experience to savour, not endure. Life may not be the party we hoped for, but while we are here, we might as well dance!
and my favourite 1 is...
Life may give u a HUNDRED reasons to CRY...boo hooo hoooooooo.......But u can give life a THOUSAND reasons to SMILE :)
If anyone has anymore quotes to share, please do so...

use 80/20 rule. live 80% for today, 10% for yesterday and 10% for tomorrow. you'll never know when you gonna die, you do not know what you will live for, but you know what you're doing now.
Live life to the fullest today, so that you may have a better tomorrow and sweet memories from yesterday.

I also think money is the most important thing.
No money = no honey = no family = no kids = no body to carry you name to the next generation
No money = no ginseng = no birdness = no good food = no fitness first = no health = no specialist medical care = no quality of life = no proper funeral
No money = no holidays = no breaks = get stressed

interesting you ask this Q... Cz its something that really challenges me..
Some of you said live life to the fullest??? How?? Its just a saying laa, not practical one laa.. live life as in doing the things we want to know without knowing boundaries, things that will satisfy us, even things we know that are wrong, things that hurt other ppl etc?? hmm... Well, I dunno what's in the mind of the ppl who said all these... but I guess, that's what I understand from it.
So for me, to be able to feel contented in EVERYTHING i have now, is the most important thing.
Alot of ppl now strive to work hard and earn lots of money, which they may never get to enjoy it should they die earlier than they see the money... (that's just an example)

i agree w art's opinion regarding what is generally perceived as "living life to the fullest" and i respect her v matured view of contentment as the most important thing.
at the very end you will realise that life is but a collection of memories....... we can't choose them because there is no perfect life (ie not only good experiences but a mix). and for all those advocating health, no matter how hard we try there is no guarantee against things like cancer, miscarriage, old age and physical deterioration, so if we make that an obsessive focus in our life (don't get me wrong i'm not advocating unhealthy living) then i think we'll miss the mark of real living. this thread has actually made me reflect on what's of the utmost importance in my living and i have to say it is to learn to savour every experience from the mundane to the exquisite. love, hurt, joy, exhilaration, pain, pleasure, brokenness, passion, fear, comfort.........so many more...
savour them all, from the awesome memories to the bitter-sweet ones...... we can't really choose them after all
to me this is what is living life to the fullest

agree with you too...you have put it very aptly. Life is meant to be lived to the fullest. We should strive for that because there is no guarantee in life....one can never be sure that what one strives for will be what one gets. But to live it to the fullest, yes. The memories that we collect are those that give meaning(s) to our lives. Imagine living out a life with only the same thing day in day out....
