Before answering any of the qs, I'd like to know what's the status of the judges decision on the finalist. Is it 5 or is it the 6 with pics (or 7, i don't know)? Either cases, please name the finalists. It would definitely save one person's opinion in the event he is not selected.

Ok, I think I'll do my bit in answering the questions posed.

1. what is the most important thing to you? Well, love is the most important thing. Without love, there is no meaning to life. Love makes all things beautiful. Love comes in varying forms; toward your parents, close friends, tutors and etc...Without love, certainly, life has no meaning. Among faith, hope and love, love is the greatest.

2. Who would you save in the final minutes of life and death between ur future wife and your mom? (you had only one chance to save one) Well, this was raised before in another thread. Yup, like Euj said, this is a hypothetical question. But really, I would agree to what Euj said. If I could lay down my life so that the 2 of them could live, I would. But if I have to save someone, it would be my mum. I think I owe her my life for the sacrifices she made for me, by bringing me to this earth. Without her, I would not have the chance to meet any lady, right? But then, I know I would also cry for having to lose my partner.

The 3rd q, on smashing the puppy's head and drowning the cat, it's very very weird a question, but I agree to Jerry, that drowning the cat would be a better option. The best would be, not to kill at all. I thought we're compassionate creatures?

well, it's more like overall situations like, i would have gone out a lot more, met more people, dated more, drunk more, done more stuff...
i've done all that the last few years, but i wish i had done that earlier. i guess it was more of a cultural influence from my time malaysia and singapore that hindered me...
if i think of specifics, hope i'm not offending the religious ones here, i wish i had spend less time doing church stuff. that was my life for almost ten years, but i reckon i missed out on a lot of life because of that, and a lot of that time was wasted...

I used to be reasonably okay with Mandarin. Just ask my year-mates (Nguk Chu, Siew Kim, Ching Nee, Wai Huat...), they can testify. I say again, reasonably okay nia.

As of today, I am not okay with my mandarin. I regret not catching up with Mandarin over the past few years. Now, I can read so-so, write my own name only :eek: , can talk a little. What a regret! Looking at the importance of Mandarin today, I really regret this.

I don't get to enjoy the chinese comics like 风云，黑豹 like my chinese educated friends do. Jealousnya. However, I still can enjoy 老夫子。 :p

i think i've answered some of the questions, but here are the ones still outstanding:
- most important thing - i'm going to skip the family and friends thing, cos that's a given. for me it's to be true to myself and my principles so that i can sleep peacefully at night and look myself squarely in the mirror.
- the cat and dog one - i have to skip that. it's too cruel. i love animals, especially with some garlic and soya sauce, but seriously, can't answer that one...
- strength - honest, genuine, open minded (always willing to try new things), friendly, earn an honest living (well, as honest as investment banking can be), keep fit, enjoy all sorts of acvities that chicks like such as cooking, reading, talking over a glass of wine, walking along the river (seriously, i live just at the river), romantic.
- weakness - no good at confrontation, procrastinator, a bit of a dreamer, try to please others too much, can be messy unless i know i have guests coming over.

None actually. But if I HAD to, it would be... the decision to change to my current car. Why? Cos have cost me a lot to upkeep and lots of unnecessary stuff installed. Kind of lame thing to change but all of the major developments happened for a good cause.

Drowning a cat. Althought it will suffer longer, I kenot tahan the sight of a smashed up puppy's head. I could miss and the puppy could be running around in pain with a half smashed head.. with part of its brain and its left eye dangling

I am very easy to hang with and to get to know. I am also very good in getting things done once I set my mind to it. Weakness? I am a procastinator.

Well, this was raised before in another thread. Yup, like Euj said, this is a hypothetical question. But really, I would agree to what Euj said. If I could lay down my life so that the 2 of them could live, I would. But if I have to save someone, it would be my mum. I think I owe her my life for the sacrifices she made for me, by bringing me to this earth. Without her, I would not have the chance to meet any lady, right? But then, I know I would also cry for having to lose my partner.

Knowing it is impossible, saying it doesn't change a fact that stands. There was an incident that I still feel very bad about, something that I would really want to change, is the one time I made my mum cry. I was very negligent, I didn't call my mum to tell her I was coming back late, and I was not reachable (no hp yet). So, I came home late, and my dead-worried mum scolded me, and cried. I will never forget that time where I hurt my mum. If there was one thing that I could change, I would choose not to make mum sad. Now my vow is to always make mummy happy (not forgetting daddy who loves me too).

The 3rd q, on smashing the puppy's head and drowning the cat, it's very very weird a question, but I agree to Jerry, that drowning the cat would be a better option. The best would be, not to kill at all. I thought we're compassionate creatures? Killing is just too cruel.

I have nothing much to say about my strength. I am just a regular guy, who does things any other guy would do. It feels weird speaking your plus points. On the weakness, yeah, I too procrastinate. And, I am very forgetful.

As of today, I am not okay with my mandarin. I regret not catching up with Mandarin over the past few years. Now, I can read so-so, write my own name only :eek: , can talk a little. What a regret! Looking at the importance of Mandarin today, I really regret this.
