u r taking things for granted....wait till u are far away from home and family, then u'll know how those of us who are unable to celebrate feel.

it's not so much the fun of hanging out with friends etc...it's more the thought of not being able to enjoy the little things u do with family around.

haven't even had a queh-ka-pek for so many years...last time i had some was when my ex-student made and mailed me some :) unfortunately, when i got it, it was all crumbs, thanks to the mail man.

Yeah...they came 3 years ago. Coming again this year. I think they will also be visiting your uncle up in Vancouver too. They must be on tour somewhere when you are there coz they are always home when i call!

The brothers are my cousins. The elder was back for CNY. He is now based in Sg and not sailing anymore. Apparently, he is doing audits at the ships and he still flys to whichever ships that needs to be audit and comes back to Sg. However, the second brader is still sailing. Looks like they will retire with NOL.

So which Oil & Gas company are you with now? Petronas? Doing what? on the oil rigs of in the office?

Just met your cousin, David few days in one of the seminar (please don't ask what seminars we attended). Still never age yaa.. They said those who stay at sea looks very young. Met Steven Ong also...you know our former classmates...Ong H.L's brother. Still keeping in touch with Steven but difficult to meet cos my joblaa...fly here and there...like flying kite???

I stick with SHELL Msia for 2 years and then hop to Sillipore, land of kiasusim and more kiasism. I thought I left sea for good and then to land...never know with SHELL I have more flying to do cos ...there here it was this faraway land call Land of Hornbill (Miri)...another Fochow town. Have to fly a lot like taking taxi to go to some places to drive big vessels....on air as passenger and to sea pilotting....sigh ! Also have to move ships and rigs for a living....OK laa.. not bad experience.

Petronas??? They used to have the world tallest building and etc....but susah laaa...no good vitamin M and also kinda lots of red tapes....Psss...don't waste time working for them.....

Now more of onshore job but still flying around quite a lot...audit, recruitment, writing story books (procedures), bull shiting as usual.....
