Think the last gathering wasn't so successful, if I remember correctly. The 1st one was good, with sponsorship of ACS watches and food.

To get members to commit minimum number of posts may not work, in my opinion. Members shouldn't feel obliged to post when it comes to posting.

Let's try to revive it. Facebook is not the issue. I noticed there are a few ACS Sitiawan fb pages but they are not active like how this forum used to be.

May be we can get those who used to be active to come back to provide the spark.

Agree with Alf. Yeah, guess after all the hype in the
beginning, shared what we wanted to share, chat what
we wanted to chat and all the "siaoness", we slowly find the
lack of interest to continue. Family and work then became
one of the excuses. To me, this forum had given me one of the
best time and memories, not forgetting the wonderful
friendship I had gain thru' this forum from many of you.
So it's sad to see it fade this way. :crying:

wow haven't logged in here for ages
there was a lull when i was last in here by myself
and decided it was bcos everyone was happily playing on fb
so i stopped dropping in

hope you don't kill this forum daboss
it's still better than the acs/sitiawan fb page which someone added me to
which is rather annoying bcos it's too diverse and you can't really have a proper conversation on it
(and it kept sending notifications everytime a tom, dick or harry posted any comment!)

will try to bring some kaki back in here to chat :D

Same sentiment here. Most of the time when i logged in, there was a lull. For the record, i logged in almost
everyday even if just to check for any new posts.
I was travelling for week the past 2 weeks, hence my long absence from the forum.
