if any of you need avatar's and need help with getting one, i've got lots of free time :)

just lemme know what character you want and i can try to source it out for you and also optimize it to the right size and dimension. just helping out. ;)

boleh make it that avatar pull and read from remote location and no need to upload into the forum server, can ah? just asking ya. that way can use more animated avatars.

alternatively, for signature, maybe can add in tag, where it also read from remote server.

ray, i guess you know what you're doing and i can trust you (hopefully :))... but i don't want to get complains from other webmasters later for allowing hotlinking.... img tags are normally a no-no...

tell you what, by the end of this month, i'll upgrade the hosting package to allow more disk space - that way, i'll increase the current file size limit to a more decent value?

if i forget, do give me a reminder by the end of the month? thanks...

since ah jang here called me professional, i've enabled the use IMG tags for signatures... no lah, just decided that i didn't bother too much about hotlinking...

ray, looks like you'll soon have your hands full handling requests for avatars. since we're on this topic, can you get me a good avatar too?

but then horrr.... the nicer animated avatars all all about 11 to 15KB (hint hint... heh heh) just kidding la, i understand you are looking after the forum in the best interest of everyone.

anyway i have posted some animated avatars on the following page. some are not optimised yet so it might be large. if you see something you like, just lemme know and i'll do it up for you.

on another note, i have done up the ACS logo in illustrator. unfortunately, the icons in the middle (the lamp, microscope, book and bunga raya lacks detail, so i can't trace it out. maybe hisham can help on this.

About the forum's logo I have been giving it some thought and I suggest we move away from the school logo, and only retain one or two motifs from it, maybe the outline or the internal shapes. But ultimately, the logo is mostly designed with a new look. Since Edwin is daBoss, he has dibs on the direction of we want to take with the logo.

animated gif files need to be editted by specific softwares la bro. use Adobe Image Ready or Macromedia Fireworks if you have. the easier thing for you to do is to tell me what you want and then i optimize for you. :)

well, it didn't help my cause when i tried to translate the "kentut" pantuns into english for my co-workers. but seriously, they did like my avatar and thought my frog avatar was cool...
