Horrible,horribe movies!!

Wow, serious? I enjoyed Resident Evil 2.

Anyway, on the topic, I don't do that. Agree with jcwong, pay already, must sit through. But I did almost sleep at the movie once.

same as siewjang for me... but sometimes some people in the house make me wanna walk-out... people who give running commentary, people who watching the movie second time telling their friend the twist at the end - at the beginning of the movie! and people with garlic breath beside me... and people who bring babies to the cinema!

i was watching LOTR:ROTK, and just as frodo and sam was trying to reach mt. doom, there was kid behind me just couldn't hold it any younger...i think the whole dem was annoyed with the parents...the baby is i think less than 1 yrs old!!!! :mad:

1 year is definitely too young. I only brought Matthew to the cinema when he is 5 yrs old.

anyway, i oso believe that if i pay money for a movie i will sit through it no matter how painful, but 2 movies that i did actually think was a waste of my money was:

1) Titanic
2) the third Matrix Movie

actually, i nearly walked out movie once... due to embarassment...
was with my cousins and their friends... i also know them of course...
just started some trailers... the last samurai came up...
my brain i think short-circuit, so i went "oh! tom cruise!"...
needless to say, everyone turned in my direction..... malu malu... :o

i went to see South Park: Bigger Longer and Uncut in the theaters. (dem funny movie, btw). and there were these 2 little old ladies sitting behind us. we were about 30 minutes into the movie (my friends and i were catching only every other joke on SP b/c we were laughing so hard) when suddenly i heard a loud whisper behind me:

"Dear, I don't think this is the Winslow Boy", coming from one of the old ladies.

so both these dearies left to go and watch the Winslow Boy (they walked out of the movie, dear mods, not i) although i still believe the one who kept quiet was enjoying SP and would have liked to watch the rest of it. i hope she came back later with her grandkids...

I agree!!! I think its a movie only George W. Bush will enjoy. Celebrating the stupidity of Americans. Tom Green should be shot... I don't know who actually finds him funny.

I liked Thin Red Line... granted the last 30 mins was a little draggy, but i was a very good movie. Nominated for best picture Oscar what...

I found the English Patient very draggy... somebody said it should have been named The Patient English.

kena one time. when i saw they advertise the film, i thought it was nice and i bought the ticket and when in.

when it start, :O different movie and somemore all the audience is uncle and aunty and the movie is old movie... i was so angry and shock... how come different movie stated in the board...

so i straight away walk out and went back home watch dvd :D

I made a mistake too.. i bought a ticket for the movie which i thought was an english movie..never knew turned out to be some chinese show (Andy Lau and Cecilia Cheung one, ancient chinese show)... but my mistake laa for not reviewing the show...

still I didnt walk out... waste my money then if I walk out. :)

And I watched it 3 times just because Val Kilmer is so cool (not as cool as Iceman in Top Gun though). Good movie to me. :p

i agree - if there's nothing on, regardless if you have 300 channels NOTHING but crap is on.. :(

not to keep harping on it but the 3rd Matrix movie was SUCH a damn disappointment (shame on you, wachowski brothers). those of you in malaysia were SO lucky that they censored the stupidest most pointless gratuitous rave scene that did nothing to advance the plot but just point out that they were trying too hard to be "cool". grrrrr. damn waste of money man - some more i went in the evening and paid full price!! bah, humbug. stayed till the end but afterwards, my friends and i bashed the movie habis habis!!

oh lilian, i'm a big fan of the first movie. and it is actually complete without having to watch the other 2 so i highly recommend you forget about matrix 2 and 3 and just rent the 1st Matrix. that was good. just because i hated the sequels doesn't make the original a bad movie...

plus keanu is nice eye candy. teehee!

Same here. There were about 15 of us who went to TGV to see this movie as it had received like 10 oscar nominations. Only 1 out of the 15 said it was good. The rest came out cursing with languanges you have never heard in your life.

It should be renamed the "Patient Malaysian". Guess they were nominated for best costume, best scenery, best score, best location..etc and definately not best movie!!

The English Patient is a more a chick-flick. The way Godfather movies are stud-flicks.

Godfather movies are also bloody slow... but the climax is always worth it. Most girls and the MTV generation buggers cannot stand them. But I (and I believe a lot of the guys) love it.
