aww lilian. ok another clue, don't give up yet. andrew mccarthy was in it, and it takes place in NYC and the Hamptons. the episode of Friends it was mentioned was the one where they had the quiz where ross made up the questions to see if the guys (joey and chandler) knew the girls (monica and rachel) better, or vice versa. ended in the guys switching apartments with the girls. the question was:

Ross: What is Rachel's real favorite movie?
Chandler: _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _' _

there, three words, as above. :)

yes, andrew mccarthy was in mannequin - and sadly, i did have a big crush on him. ah, so typical. but in my defense, i was young, and he was sort of nerdy (always did like those kind of guys...). but if you haven't watched weekend at bernie's you definitely should. i thought it was pretty durned funny...

wow, you love classics don't you..?! i think my english teacher here in ireland scared me while doing A-level literature.... put me off classics since then...

anyway, the clue to the biography : about a famous american

i am a big fan of all fiction, classics or otherwise. but i took english lit for SPM and was lucky to have had a wonderful teacher, and i continued taking english lit and american lit. loved the reading and now i love it even more because no need to write papers on it. ;)

still working on the biography. the key lies in the "q" i feel... hmmmmm

the book was written by a woman, and was the first of her books to be published. i will swallow my pride and use all my powers of persuasion so you aren't turned off by her wonderfully written book! ;)

(ps: i think i'm spending too much time on the anagrams... hehe... to have woken up with answers... my brain must be working overnight!)
