Have anyone heard of Racket World in Pertama Complex? (Next to Sogo).
I read in another forum that they were selling Yonex rackets at very good price.
I.e. Ti10 at RM310. Just wondering if this is a reputable store and if they are selling imitations.
Or can you suggest where else selling Yonex at good price?

There's a badminton shop in Endah Parade. I forgot which floor, but if you can find KFC, take the nearest escalator up... probably on the 2nd or 3rd floor on your right when you come off the escalator.

Eh, Ti10? Personally, I would not buy a racquet above RM200.
You should be able to get a good Yonex racquet within RM200. Of course, if you want more expensive ones, RM700-800 also got wan.

Ti10 = Yonex Titanium 10 - the top racket 8-10 years ago. Still my favorite because of it head-heavy balance. I used to have 3 of them, gave one to my brother and he broke it and gave another one and same fate :( I thought of getting one or two as replacement.
Why Ti10 and not cheaper rackets? I need all the technological help I can get at this "young at heart" age :). Actually, I got several top Wilsons rackets, but they're of no comparison to Yonex's.
So this is one hobby I do indulge in, I got my own stringing machine just so that I can get the tension right :).

But isn't it the new technology having the better material and aerodynamic features......something young heart need to change with the time.....my favourite was the carbonex 9.......but after trying muscle power.... just loving it....But again they stop production lioa....:squeeze:
By the way .....my racket for restringing is on the way to your place lioa......take care ok!!!

The newer models are a lot more expensive and I got used to the Ti10, it is actually a very good racket (some consider it the best single racket around).
Dr, it would be free of charge for you if you pay the shipping :) Strings I use are: Yonex BG65, BG68Ti, BG85, BG95 and anywhere from 19-25 lbs (1/2 lb increment), strung with one string (two termination points - not 4 for even tension vertical and horizontal).

I called Racket House yesterday (the store in Pertama Complex), the price quoted were:
Ti10: RM490
Amortec 900 : RM620
Arc Saber 10: 730
The told me best price if I buy three of the Ti10 is 465 each with BG65 string. Found out also the racket is not the original Ti10 but so called 2nd or 3rd generations: with red and purple color. These are not head heavy :(
Will have to rethink what I can get for replacement.
Called another store in Lumut, they were out of stock and quoted much higher price.

If you want head heavy... the Muscle Power Series oso not bad...I've used 2 Muscle Power 66. But I think Yonex rackets are overpriced. You can get very good RCL or even Pro Ace rackets at half the price.
