I think besides hating driving in it, its very dirty when it turns to slush!! Worst case is when it turns to slush...the tempreture goes down...it turns to ice.....then its impossible to drive!!

But then...its very quiet and peaceful after it snows.

my first artificial snow experience - at mines wonderland...
my first real snow experience - at german alps (at 12noon!)...

Worst case is when it turns to slush...the tempreture goes down...it turns to ice.....then its impossible to drive

jang, your snuggling under the blanket idea is good until

a) must get up and go to work
b) run out of hot chocolate - must go out and buy some more

lazy day down the drain, go and fight the snow. until you have 3 feet of snow in 1 night and then have to go to class/work, you don't know just how much you hate snow.. :D

agreed, plus i reckon both extremes aren't that fun, although i guess with having 4 seasons, it sort of gives variety. the weather here in perth is mild in winter and bloody hot in summer. i prefer that more than freezing winter's...

i'm with you, euj, anything but freezing winters. if hot can fan or a/c. you won't lose fingers/toes to the heat. not to mention genetically, we malaysians are "engineered" to do better in hot humid weather.

depending where you are, robin. but in general, january is not a nice time in north america ;) been driving around northern indiana lately, seriously tundra-esque. i dunno how those settlers came and said, "ah, this looks wonderful! we will live here! we can't even dig a hole in the frozen ground 5 months out of the year, but we can eat ICE!!" grrrr
