no lah jcwong doing good job - don't forget there are some people who are not as advanced england users like us who understand the type of language fulat, cireria and linkinfark uses...

I thought all ACSians would have been properly educated in the fine art of using flowerry language??! But I do admit that fulat has a PHD in that department!

Ya ya! I agree with Siewjang, Mostly uncles and aunties except for a few young people (like me!!) who are also over the age of 21 already.

So, jcwong, keep it cool man! otherwise, this is going to be just another boring forum for boring ppl....

that phrase is multi-functional. used to describe disgust, joy, despair, anger, support.. just to name a few.

there's another, not crude in nature, but also quite widely used. ni nu neh, although not as popular as the former.

then there was a time, hui ya ruai was the accepted norm (meaning fire very big i think, to express anger)

all this hockchew talk is making me long for kang puang and kom piang!

guys, don't mean to spoil your fun but going off-topic. pls start another thread under General Chat as this language thing is not specific to Class of 1989 (unless topic is favourite phrases by 89ers, for example).
