the simplest way to find out what number you were when you registered... (e.g. whether you're member no. 200), just hover your mouse to top of your username (you need to be browsing a page with your username displayed) and see display in your browser's statusbar (the statusbar will be at the bottom of your browser). the display should read something like "....?u=X". X is your member number.

in share market trading, there's something called the january effect where share prices go up for unconfirmed reasons (although for the past couple of years, this hasn't happened in the klse/bursa)...

maybe we can have a january effect for the forum too :D

the last two time windows is when i managed to find someone to chat... the first one near to my lunch time... the second one is when my attention dwindle in the lab and need to get away from work... :)

i do have to say that about 20 out of the current 299 have not activated their memberships. so if we discount these 20, we only have about 280. also, i suspect that there are still 1 or 2 duplicate registrations in there that i have not managed to weed out.

but still, i would think this is a thriving forum :D
