i agree, i was lucky to ever meet him. but at that point i'd given up looking for anyone. when we met, i was wearing ripped jeans, old sneakers, old beat up shirt, slept about 2 hours and he still asked me out. that was over 4 years ago. i don't wear make up (almost ever), don't do my nails, don't pluck my eyebrows, don't wear revealing clothes, about all i have going for me is my sense of humor, maybe. go figure...

so you hang in there and be yourself - when the right person comes along and there is mutual respect and understanding and love, it will be a wonderful thing. also, for the long term, it is easier to start off everyone knowing the truth about each other so 6 months after you start dating, neither will say to the other "you've changed" because you will have started off being yourself and it's not hard to remain yourself.

Wow Artemis, thanks for the quick summary. I like the last page. No one should be made to try change themselves. Just being yourself in the truest ways are the best way of promoting yourself. After all, getting into a relationship is seeing the good and the bad in a person, the makeups and without them, and just accepting them as they are. Usually, people are more appreciative of their partners when they are content with themselves. If you are one who does not seem to be satisfied with what you have, no matter who you have, you will never see enough nor appreciate enough.

BO is terrible but it still can't beat the smell of stinking feet. My son's feet used to smell if he wears his shoes without his socks for the whole day - probably due to the sweat. If anyone else have problem with BO or smelly feet....try beat it with Dr. Mist, an odour killer. ;)
