Managed to stop by a Proton showroom earlier this week to have a look at the new Waja. Outlook not much difference from the standard Campro Waja. Inside also not much difference saved for the gated shifter. Just some luxury add ons like collaspsible wing mirrors, adjustable headlight height and xenon lights.

Regarding the engine, the power delivery seems to be better. More usable torque is delivered earlier, enabliing you to pull away at lower speeds or when moving from standstill. This would definitely mean some saving in fuel.

Tested? Nope. Would need to have some one sponsor a car or us to test. kekeke. So no real life reviews anytime soon from me :P

the torque curve look pretty promising. though dunno whether this has been 'tampered' with....

i still prefer the shape and space of waja... and the old front bonnet was nicer... they only needed to change the headlights...

waja looks "stockier" if compared with persona. And i agree, they should facelift the Waja....

the MME version of waja looks cool though, a bit 'ahbeng' but coool.....
