2005.....What does this year bring?

Let me start: Yesterday I stayed up at work until 12.30am. New projects always makes me stay up late. I have made plans that this year, I should be leaving work at 7pm, latest 8pm. Hope to make it happen. Only 4 days down, still 361 days to go.

Do share. On a day to day basis, some interesting things could be fun to share.

band was fun as i recall...lol, those hard time james ling give me to build me up. lol, those extra times i had to come to the band room to practise with him....sigh...but it was really fun...

2005 is a new and exciting year, anyone can testify to that?

I look back over the years after we left school till now, I realized that many of us have gone through changes.

This thread is to have everyone share about the year 2005. Any reports of thanksgiving is welcomed.

wahh that's great Calvin, I can never sleep that long...cuz Im a very light sleeper. Hmm.. looking back, there were many ups and downs. But one thing was I really experienced something divine in my life... if u know what Im talking abt.. :)

AS for this year so far, my thanks giving is that i'm earning enough money for some very important occasion.. :) hehe

I just wanna share a bit. Today has been the most stressful day of my life thus far for 2005. Being a Sunday, and required to come in to work is definitely not my idea of work in the ideal manner.

Being a technical guy and furthermore, doing NPI is not the nicest thing. You have to ensure that the tester is running ok, especially when you'r launching a new product. Man, I was running around getting people to help me in the tester, and not many people could do it. And I was still learning, so definitely no way for me to be able to troubleshoot properly.

Furthermore, my boss was like calling me and asking me for updates, and I just mentioned that I will do my best. If things don't go well, we'll just have to wait until tomorrow. But he wasn't too happy about it.

Now still at work (9.45pm), trying to get the updates and finish up as much as possible. Customers coming tomorrow....Man, what a week....

Thanks a lot for that. It's very assuring.

Just wanna share another thing with you. I don't know it was my stupidity or it was my blurness that I got myself injured. I was doing my work, some sort of reworking. For those in technical line (electronics, you'll know what I'm talking about), I was trying to mount a SMT part (no leaded qfps), but it was located nearby a battery. I don't remember seeing the bat there, and I just reflowed the part, and the battery blew up right in front of my face.

Got my eye a little swollen, and nose bleed (outside). But praise God, I'm really fine.

Hope that this week will be a great week, which I know will be.

What you are going through is ' kacang putih' compared to mine.

I had 6 machines scheduled to complete by 7th Feb. However, a phone call from the Chairman of Company upsets the whole thing. Instead of 1 week per machine, I had to finished it with 3 days per machine. Almost 10/11pm everynight including sundays for the past 4 weeks. D*amn, I am really looking forward to the CNY break, if not, I think my bones will be broken...

And most sad news is that, my client will be having a shut down on 9th February, meaning.... some works need to be carried out... Praying hard my others guys can fill me in...
