In light of the past couple of days (failure to meet up in the gathering), we would like to hear your opinion on whether 2008 is a good time to meet or not, and if not, when? Apart from that, I'd also like to know where to meet.

Hey All,
It's fine. Let's not feel bad about not making it for the previous one. Sometimes, somethings cannot be avoided, circumstances can be unforseen.

My only hope that as we plan for the 2008 reunion, we'll give a more concerted effort, and perhaps, come together and see how each of us have progressed on our individual lives.

I hope to hear more ideas and opinions from everyone. It'd be great to hear peoples' inputs.

Yup yup, by 2008, perhaps many will be with husbands/wives, and children as well. Maybe those still single will be the minority, I hope not. Looks like I gotta do something...(nah, I enjoy my singlehood now).

BTW, hehe..i'm still youngest in my company...there was a new engineer who came in about 3 months ago...same age with us..so i tot she'll def be younger wan...but then i found out her first day falls on 26th..hehe..so i'm still 2days younger :D

Good for you. I have my operators aging on 19. So, I'm really old now.

aiyo...being old is good. most operators will then to listen to ppl older than them...if u are younger, they think that their experience is much better than your knowledge

Yup, true to a certain extent. But then again, it depends on your position. All my technicians are older than me, haha. So, I still give the direction.

No worries, I've gotten people's opinions before passing any direction. Try not to act as too wise. People may not like it. At least, after getting a consensus, it'd be better as a group of people have agreed on the proposal.

I once went to a friend's reunion before but I improvise a bit laa... Of course they will be an MC. SO, there was a welcoming and opening speech by the chairperson. Then proceeded to dinner. After 2 or 3 dishes, there was a session of introducing everyone that's around. SO, each person when being called up will have to give a short update of themselves lor just so that everyone knows. :) that continued until dinner ended ..

Let's discuss the reunion as the dates are closer. Now, not many people have really an idea on how this is gonna be (since it's 3 years away).

If there aren't much to say anymore, I'll ask the mod to close this thread. We'll talk again maybe a year before we have the reunion.
