Over here in the States, on TV we have shows like Crossing over with John Edwards. The point i am trying to made is people still believe in such nonsense such as fortune reading,tarot cards,palm reading and so forth. The thing that irks me about faith healers and all these prophecy thing is that it brings people false hope.

ahh dino, read dan brown's Angels and Demons - it speaks of the balance between faith and reality (ie science) and why hope (true or false) is sometimes important. it all falls in a very complex balance of extremities - night and day, good and bad. everything exists in a balance... sorry i know i make no sense at all - but basically all that exists now is in direct contribution to the balance of life. :) sorry - very vague. :D

Words cant describe what the people experienced and are still experiencing now from the tsunami tragedy. I was really taken aback by this realization, when within hours, one can lose everything!! Families, lives, homes..everything. It makes me feel guilty to even want to buy new clothes, eat good food, vitamins, have the priviledge of staying in such a nice place.. it just hit me laa... no words of comfort can ever be comforting enough for them...

But yeah, the tsunami did really prove many things. One of them... when disaster such as this happens, no one can ever predict it, not even a world-renowned psychic. The prophecy was that, no one will ever predict when God comes... for me, this is like a minor 2nd coming of God. really gets me thinking of preparing myself!

We are really glad that we have the Sumatra Island to block the Tsunami from Malaysia. Or else, we Malaysians will be in their shoe! Thank God that Malaysians prayed hard....
