The wait is over, finally. Watching the season opener now, Sunderland vs Spurs. It's 83rd min now, still goalless. So boring.
Can't wait to see how the big guns perform and challenge Man Utd. Let's see how the new Liverpool perform tonight, against Aston Villa at Villa Park.
Liverpool ROCKS!!! :) :) :) :)

Can also what?? As long MU win the EPL again. More excitement in life... Wah Pool fans very action nowadays har!! :p
Wah liau, Keano's Sunderland won 1-0 against Spurs!! Can believe this. Birmingham also did well except for the goalie bunders. Whack two goals against Cech is no joke man. Chelsea missed Terry a lot. This Ben Haim sucks man. Good for other EPL team.
Beware of the promoted teams. They are unpredictable!!
Well, I am just glad the EPL new season is back in action... What's life without football eh??

where got action.... we r humble and proud. Proud of the free kick scored by gerrard:o ... What a sweet goal!.
I was suprised chelsea kena whacked 2 goals by birmingham too. Defence bit lacked but malouda scored 2nd goal for chelsea already. Damn he's good...he adjusted very fast. Essien injured...so whose gonna replace him? Ballack?
Im more worried with Newcastle under big sam and also Arsenal young guns

ROMAN TO OFFER £100m FOR RONALDINHO
Roman Abramovich is reportedly ready to bid £50m for Ronaldinho and offer the Brazilian £200,000-a-week wages in a dramatic bid to lure the player to Stamford Bridge.
Although Jose Mourinho announced last week that the door to Chelski's dressing room was "closed", Abramovich is determined to open it again with the world-record capture of the two-time World Player of the Year.
The Chelski owner is believed to have met with Roberto de Assis Moreira, Ronaldinho's brother and agent, twice last week. According to The Daily Mail, 'Encouraged by those meetings, Abramovich is now ready to authorise a deal worth a staggering £100million for a player who would add flair to an already formidable Chelsea team.
'Half that money would go to Ronaldinho in wages over the next five years and the other half would go directly to Barcelona as a British record £50m transfer fee for the 27-year-old double World Player of the Year.'
However, Barcelona have vowed to resist any attempt to sign their prized asset, and The Times adds a sobering note of caution to Abramovich's latest bid to entice Ronaldinho to London.
'With only four days of the transfer window remaining, Chelsea have yet to speak to Barcelona about signing their talisman and are running out of time,' the newspaper reports. 'Although happy to be linked with such a world-class player, senior sources insisted that no bid was imminent despite last weekend's meeting in London between Abramovich and Roberto de Assis Moreira, the player's brother and agent.'
Will Moanrinho be fuming when he hear this??? :cheesy:

No lah the best goal was from Ryan Babel (thierry henry in the making). Side stepped 2 defenders and slotted the ball home cooly. Pennant was outstanding with his dribbling and crosses. So was benayoun in inspirational form setting up most of the goals in the toulose match... Means that gerrard is beginning to lose his "untouchable" status at the club soon.
Watch out for the new strike force from anfield: Torres, Babel, Kuyt, Crouch and Voronin :p

side track abit .... have to give compliment to england by crushing russia 3-0
looks like steve maclaren is still save atm being england boss
also seems that all the england stars cannot play together
i think it is very obvious that gerrard and lampard cannot play together
so i think lampard will have to be sacrificed since gerrard is having a superb time partnering gareth barry, however i believe barry will be reduced to bench when hargreaves is back
shwaun wright philips is very comfortable at the right but beckham doing well too, so this will be a headache selection but i will opte for beckham due to his experience and his superb crossing
right back slot micah richards is doing very well and gary neville seems to have a long term replacement already...so i will go for micah
strikers, now this is a headache....owen is a sure starter for his performance so his partner will either be the emile heskey or rooney when he is back. I will go for rooney coz even though emile perform well, he still cannot score much goals while rooney is different, he is a natural goal scorer too. Its a surprise that rooney have not actually play together with owen much these few years, coz once one is back , the other is bound to get injured :squeeze: , really hope to see this two partner in Euro 2008, i am sure it will be devastating :)
as for goalkeepers.....well whoever la England don have a really good one now, stick with Paul Robinson lor or change to James....whatever la

yeah, Two wins with 3-0 in a week is good sign for England.
New set of line up are combining better than the previous one. Gareth Barry, Micah, Heskey and Wright Philips shine this round. I guess they have more hunger than the regular starters. Owen is back on the score sheet and combining well with Heskey. Heskey won't score much but he supplies and distract the defenders away for Owen to be free to score. Look at the space Owen had in the Russian game. The second goal was superb with the thunderous volley.
McClaren made a good decision to field the same line up vs Israel.
I guess he should stick with the same line up for the Oct games as England need to win two more game to safely qualify for the Euro 2008.
I believe England will go thru.
In Group B, Scotland upset France with a 1-0 away win. This group will be battling to the end with Italy, France and Scotland eyeing for the top two spots. It will be tough for France now.

yes france really need to get their act together now to qualify with scotland leading the pack
well of course i hope france will qualify
this will make the tournament much better during the finals
i believe italy will go through
dunno why but they just have the history of winning and going through even though they did not play well

I would prefer Scotland to go through first, they're playing attractive football nowadays and also a new team in Euro 2008 if they qualified, rather to see old boring teams like France & Italy.
Ha! remember to watch the toffeemen whack the red devils on Saturday :p

I would have choose crouchie for emile's place.. he's more nimble and creative though heskey is more strong and powerful...maybe maclaren's advice to heskey before start of the game was: "Whatever you do, protect michael's legs from being tackled or else we wont have any good striker left. "
Really a miracle for owen to come back from a career threatening injury. Good to see former liverpool golden boy finds his scoring boots back! I'm confident owen will steer england all the way this time. But that means bad news for EPL teams when he combine with obafemi martins.
Peace

Your dream came true tonite.. Heskey broke his 5th metatarsal tonite at the 9th min of Wigan vs Fulham match and will be out for a least 2 months. Won't be available for next England game.
I guess McClown has to depend on Crouchie or Rooney to partner Owen then.

Yeah, i told you so... MU had to dig deep to win tonite.. Everton played well tonite especially Baines.
