1) 1st kakak ran way - without a maid so have to send my son away to stay with my sister in cyberjaya. Didn't get to see him till the weekend for almost 2 months. (those without kids would not understand how we feel when departed with our kids)
2) Was tested positive (pregnant la). Something that i least expected as my mind was fixed at 2 childrens. Somehow, with gods will managed to gathered myself and accept the gift from God.
3) New kakak came and she was like shit.
4) Just when everything is going like a tornado, mother-in-law was diagnosed with rectum cancer.
5) Have to deal with morning sickness and where is hub? He choose to be with his mom which i felt jelous over it. But I need some assistance at home as I was too tired to deal with any of them. Without a husband for 2 whole weeks is sucks.
6) Mother-in-law cancer was a big blow to hub.
7) Financial was bad with m-i-l chemotheraphy and new addition of family members.
Who got anything worst than me?

Everyone has troubles... just when you think that you have the worse life, there is another who would top you. Eg. The recent quake + tidal wave victims.
As for myself, my most memorable event this year was trip to phuket (waaay before the waves came). Enjoyed myself immensely.. basking in the sun on the beach. Bliss..

Quite a good year for me:
1. Got a kakak for the first time - quite a good one
2. Had my daughter - so sudah score Happy Family
3. Signed up for facial program - love the pampering. Great way to unwind...
4. Son started playschool - went relatively smoothly
5. Submitted and presented my final dissertation - should have finished 3 years ago.
6. Stayed in Swissotel The Stanford (5 star) for training in SG. Very convenient.
7. Met new friends and started keeping in touch with the old ones thru this forum :)
8. Signed up for Yahoo messenger and chat with friends for the first time
9. Got a surprise Christmas gift from hubby that I actually like
10. Seconded to project in Cyberjaya so got to know new eating places in Dengkil, Seri Kembangan and Serdang. Also got some extra allowance...
The list goes on...count your blessings!

Good or not I still don't know:
For the first time ever in 2004, I stopped working for salary and started going freelance, working from home. When I started we couldn't pay our bills for a couple of months. But now, thank god, December I've had the most income ever. (Whatever figure you think, it's not THAT much. Previously I've been paid chicken feed wherever I work, barely enough to pay for everything.) But I'm dreading the months without any jobs in the future. Hopefully the jobs don't stop coming, but life doesn't work that way.
Also the bestest thing ever: my 2 year old son Irfan has started speaking.

Quite an unlucky year. Car kena accident 2 times in 1 1/2 months. Hopefully, 2005 will be a better year. On the positive side, thank God that I am still okay, not injured physically in both accidents. Mentally and emotionly, yes.

2004 has been a great year. No matter how hard the year has been, I have to testify that God has truly been good, and good always out-weighs the bad.
Well, I remember this year as a year of opportunities. Many things came and I was blessed to see many good things take place. My church has this theme, the 'year of mobilization', where it has been working on community projects and service on community scale.
I've had the opportunity to do missions among the orang asli, flew to the US for the first time, visited Disney in Orlando, made several good friends from the states.
Also, lost a friend (I believe Artemis shares the same friend, if I'm not wrong). But then again, yes, behind every thing, God has a good in-store. Nothing happens without God allowing it.
I'm happy, 2004 has been a great year. Am praying that 2005 will show even more openings and opportunities.

4 bad(s) & 4 good(s). Hmm..very fair year for you.
As for me, looking back year 2004:
I can only count my blessings. When I do that I count my kid twice.
Many good, bad & ugly things happened. The good things helps me to usher into 2005 with greater confidence and the bad & ugly things only motivates me to do better.
Really can't single out every detail but it has always been a good year if you don't think it as just another year.
All the best to you people out there.

Wow, that's awfully long not to get a raise. I had a year, and my company went nuts over that case. I remember writing to my MD over this concern. What happened after that, the following year, everyone got a raise, except all managers. Staff are given a raise. So it was good news for us. Too bad for the managers...
