Yes, that's Heng Lee area (where Benny Liew lived a few doors away). Heng Lee also sells PACKAGED and DRIED kampuang mien as well as almond biscuits tho'........Notice that there is a Goodyear shop (where the First ever Maybank was located in the EARLY 80's) where an outdoor stall which sells Kampuang mien/Yong Tau Foo/Loh Bak/White Peanut soup/etc.....and it opens ONLY AT THE WEE HOURS OF THE NIGHT :D

for gong pian, i think the one corner lot opposite our school one, the one next to the defunct bank building (last time hock thai finance one ar), that is the best. everyday must order if u wan to eat, especially sat and sun. dem hard to get if no order early. taste good hot, and also good cold. that gong pian i like more than the one with onions sold beside wisma ganda. too oily for my taste, and tasted really bad cold.

back in college i go back every fortnight.. hehe
apa boleh buat... even tho airasia's cheap also cannot afford la.. 1 trip back expenses need around RM 500...

Y there is not cendol on the list??? Our Sitiawan cendol is the best in the peninsula i can safely say. I vote for cendol behind wisma ganda. Tomoro can collect advertising fees from the taukeh 2moro

Thanks to Alfred, i got to taste AT kampuan this morning.
Not bad. In fact, i had never ventured into the villages in
AT and so it was nice to see what it is like. Mini and me
bought dvds from an ah lian selling in front of the makan
place, 20 series dramas for RM8, and ada discount summore
when we bought more...:D
