hmm... i thought the radio announced this morning that the girls are playing today...
either i heard wrongly since i was half sleepy, or the dj announced things wrongly...

(once, it was announced "a six years old man was injured after he was shot...."
i was completely puzzled, and my friends heard that too...
turned out to be a 60 years old man, not 6... but that's what she said!)

Federer is through after beating Davydenko. Nadal is currently playing against Djokovic.
Federer vs Nadal would be a great final :)

From the way Ivanovic thrashed Sharapova, I thought she might be able to strecth Justine Henin a little. I was damn wrong. She was outplayed last night by Justine.

Anyway, tonight another cracker coming up. It will be close, but I would love to see Federer winning it.

watched Justine steamroller Ana Ivanovic...it wasn't that Ivanovic was crap, Justine just dismantled her completely. anyway, Justine is a very great and worthy winner, doesn't seem like anyone can touch her at the moment.

the men's singles final is on at the moment - very strange match. both Federer and Nadal seem very nervous and on edge, but the first set has gone 6-3 to Nadal and Federer is 4-3 up in the second.

it was painful watching federer playing nadal...
would like him to win but nadal definitely was doing better...
he defended his title well and he deserved it...

Agreed LiLian. Nadal was pure class. Federer had his chances in the 1st set. Having 40-15 break points twice and he blew it. Nadal had one break point and he took it. If Federer had won the 1st set, the outcome could have been different.

.....disappointing men's final with Federer being uncharacteristically subdued. btw i thot Nadal had disgusting amounts of sweat :squeeze: and the T.O.G.S. radioshow (BBC radio 2 in the morning) gave him what for yesterday morning for adjusting his panties every time before serving :squeeze: :squeeze: which unfortunately overshadowed his great performance...

ROLL ON WIMBLEDON!
