Me...a humble 2004 Toyota Corolla. Since i commute everyday...no point getting a better car and put high milage on it.

i'm still driving my "not so faithful anymore" 1996 proton wira 1.6 xli - been driving that ever ine i graduated in 1995... :) not so faithful because have been giving me lotsa problems lately - gearbox, suspension, tyres, etc... boh lui liao :(

Hmm....the KIA SORENTO is in the showroom Sir, waiting for you. As for me, I change my Benz to new nodel every single year..just that I perpetually parked my car at the designated showrooms. :p

Singapore too expensive to own a car.....pay this pay that....pay almost everything except the air in the car you breath.....parking have to pay everyday....... not practical la.....so I take taxi all the time....save the trouble...

Wah..when I was working in S'pore, I have damn good life. Everyday my driver will come on time to pick me up. They either came in the double deck Volvo or Mercedes Benz. :D
Me not so rich...no taxi. Volvos and Mercedes Benz will do. Hehehe.

me not so rich also but I have calculated that it is cheaper to take taxi everyday than to own a car in Singapore....hence my decision not to get a car...

nothing beats a company car which i'm driving right now. no need to worry about repairing, insurance and also fuel price increase. only that my boss is complaining that i'm pumping too much petrol.

But honestly, if given me a choice, I rather have the car allowance than having a company car as most company car sucks....plus I get to buy what I like.... :D

yes, but that depends on how much allowance you're given. i know of a friend who's getting like RM2K each month. but then again, he's a regional manager.

RM2k is great....but the tax for car allowance would be much greater than a company car (which is considered as a benefit in kind)

I know that some of them are quite pretty and look very young. They drive mini-vans or SUV's.

I heard the Korean cars are pretty bad on fuel consumption...I nearly wanted to buy a Spectra becoz it looks really good with side skirting and front/back lips n a spoiler.....Linkin, did u modify yours?
Korean cars has the lowest safety ratings here in the states.

Depending on the car....i bought my car new at about $16,500. It comes with Cruise Control, ABS, Airbag and 100k warranty.
A fully loaded Camry is about 23-25k.
Lexus....about 30k.
BMW about 28k for an entry level wan.
Merz....a compact one entry level about 28k as well.
Ford....11k can get already.
Audi....you are looking at 30k plus.
So it all depends on what car you want. Mind you also that its left hand drive.

No lah, bought mine when the price was still high, around RM79K. But with RM4K discount so around RM75K.
Now I think selling at RM69K with the sports kit thrown in! Nabeh!
