One of our own 99er forum member tied the knot last Saturday (and the first to settle down among us ex-chatterbox cum currently busy-beez 99ers here) in Penang, and had a dinner in KL yesterday. Regretfully, I was unable to attend it…Hoping to see photos in here, Sieh Jin…or any of you who attended!

firstly you seek to call me ben, tho i'm definitely not a ben....a klein perhaps like calvin klein, or maybe even a calvin and hobbes...in chinese they call me kai wen, and my name is plastered all over the science books. unfortunately i wasn't born early enough to claim copyright..oh yea, some trivia,. there's a river in England which is named after me (tho some would claim i'm named after the river).

next you seek to call me mango fella...in no way am i a tutti fruti concoction. tho i am related to some particular fruity guy, tho we have established that it is not a biological relationship as he's adopted (picked him up from the roadside, go figure) hehe..we do share almost the same name, strangely enough his name is supposed to mean handsome :p

if you'd at least associate me with mammals that would be closer to the point. kachuaks are definitely not mammal but i wouldn't be too insulted to be associated to the prehistoric creature which survived when even the mighty dinosaurs failed (incidentally, do u know that a cockroach and run around without its head..supposedly for a week) i guess maybe that's y sometimes i feel like i'm headless and purposeless..

a closer association woudl be of the feline kind...tho personally i'm more of a kanine person...but i did pick the monicker cxtreme for myself cause at that particular time i thought it to be 'cool', 'hip' and happening..sort of like that 'hitam itu emas' kidna feeling or the 'gaya , mutu, keunggulan' kind of way. cxtreme actually stands for coolcatxtreme..a nick i have proudly used since the age of 14....i'm still seeking my little hotdog though to make the perfect pair. variations of coolcatxtreme includes cxtreme and cx. incidentally, if u were to walk the streets of sungai wang, you'd find that again due to my immense popularity you can find my name 'coolcat' on many items such as slippers, key chains etc. however, those things are made in China, and we know what China's intellectual property laws are like so i dont foressee myself getting a piece of the cake.

so in conclusion, let me stress and reiterate again that i'm no ben, thou ben the mouse is kinda close since i'm a rodent myself...neither am i a tutti fruti guy (i'm not gay!!!)...i shall very likely to be called kelvin or cxtreme whichever your taste fancies.

well, so far so good. no major fights, just small petty ones that are easily resolved. still getting used to the commute, as we're staying in seremban... i'm working in pj and chenmay's working in kuala pilah.

about the pic: most of the ppl in the pic are from ACS and would be easily recognised by 99-ers. one exception would be oscar, the guy behind ai lee and i; he's lingfong's boyfriend and he's a foochow from sibu. the two guys behind chenmay and ai min are kah kiet and ngee wen from ayer tawar; they came to ACS for form 6. and furthest to the right is aunty kim guat; ppl from the class of 98 would know her eldest son, yijien. =)
