1) Just answer the Q forming this thread’s title yea.
“What Does Mother’s Day means to YOU?”
(You don’t have to be a mother to answer this…just share your views as a Child/ Mom/ Dad/ etc etc…)
2) How do u usually celebrate Mother’s Day?
Daddies…do you plot with ur children to surprise wifey?
3) Planning anything secret this year? It’ll be save in this forum, I’m sure :)
4) What do u think is the perfect gift for a mommy (from little kids – working children, opinion/expectation would differ)?
(mothers in the forum – ur views would be interesting: do you prefer PRACTICAL/ PAMPERING/ DECO stuffs?)
Mother’s Day is just a week away….so lets get the ‘mood’ all up!

To start the ball rolling..
1/ Okay…nobody would be here without mommies. So, allocating one day out of 365 days to Celebrate Mommy is like the least the world can do. But seems like this too is becoming an entrepreneur opportunity for all the businessmen, just like V-day etc.
2/ My mom’s more of the type that goes like ‘No point having just a day to appreciate mom’…so
Don’t exactly celebrate…but siblings & I have done little things like making mom breakfast in bed, hand-made card, prezzie when small.
Okay, keep the chatters alive…I’ll pop by now & then.

anagram? it's not an anagram
haha
well..hmm mother's day, like any other day in the year...
mom always says dont waste money (cause i normally get her flower)..but then i'll scold her back by saying..like or dun like! then she'll say liiiiiiiike. mom's are practical people but they still love it when given some extra attention and care and tho flowers dont last i feel that at least it makes her more happy as compared to buying her a practical gift like a frying pan or something :p
surprising thing that we did for mom, bout 2 years ago, my bro and i conspired to go back to sitiawan without informing our parents for mothers day...reached our home at 5am, coudln't enter the house so woke my sister up to open the door...then since we so tired..we went to sleep...mom got a shock when she woke up to see a hairy creature in the guest/computer room :p haha it was certainly pleasant. last year i got my junior to deliver flowers to the home cuase we couldn't make it back..actually wanted to turn mother's day into a point of reunion where the whole family will gather togethr every year but haven't been succesful yet. this year mother's day also not going back cause we were just back in sitiawan and we lead very busyt busy busy lives :p
sadly tho,,we dun do anything for father's day

Will probably celebrate it with a simple dinner outside my home ministers. To us, if all of us are together happy under one roof, everyday will be mother's day... :)
Asked my little rascal what will he want to buy for his mother on that special dedicated mother's day...
Daddy : Son, what you want to buy for your mummy...
Son : Daddy, I dont have money, then how...
Daddy : erhhhh..... Okay, daddy will pay.......
Son: Okay.... Anything ?????
Daddy : Yes........
Son : Okay..... (thinking hard)........ I know what to get....
Daddy: Okay, tell me....
Son: Transformer, Optimus Prime, the one I saw on sunday...
Daddy: Hello, your mommy wont want transformer, okay???
Son: I know, then she will give it to me .....
beh tah tan.........

Some colleagues say, it's sex day with their wife!
For me nothing much, just a call back home and greet mom 'Happy Mother's day'. Calling back is something unusual that I do anyway.
