it's an international standard - but surprisingly when i make bookings for flights, the officers still use b=bangkok, c=china, d=denmark... (my experience with SIA, MAS, Cathay pac and airasia) malu kan?

its only used for mentioning the part numbers of the plane's spare parts. NOT when buying ticket! :rolleyes:
