I love music, I love orchestras, I love operas, I love musical instument, I love spending the evening with a glass of cognac, a cigar and music from the hifi set.........

What I would like more then anything is to play to musical instrument!!!!! Yes you guessed it..... I'm rubbish at it :o Tried clarinet, tried guitar, spent a few minutes on the violin, and the easiest of the lot.... the harmonica.

Don't get me wrong........ I can play the clarinet, the guitar and the harmonica. I can get the right notes on the violin but never play a tune on it. So what's the problem????? The harmonica!!!!!!

Lets see...... I started the harmonica about 10 years ago???? Played cheap chinese tremolo which was the only type of harmonica I can find and there fore (without the internet) it was the only type that existed. Then with the internet, I found that the diatonic was the way to go. With great difficulty, I found one. That was rubbish because it was cheap and made in China. Got a better one... a Hohner but the bottom end. That was rubbish too because it was from the bottom end..... so got another Hohner at the middle of the scale.... that was rubbish too..... so went and got a few others and then relented and spurged on the top end of Hohner!!!! And guess what???? They were all rubbish!!!! Why??? Because they (the Internet community) suggested some brands which I could not get..... a Lee Oskar and some other Hohner which was not available to me.

Right.... fast foward to present day..... yesterday actually.... I finally found and bought a Lee Oskar C Major Diatonic Harmonica!!!! And guess what I've finally found out???? It was not the other harmonicas that were rubbish...... it was me :squeeze:

For the life of me, I can't get the damn thing to play cross harp!!!! :crying:

Ok rant over....................
