Haha! Sixth 1 nil scoreline for MU this season..

Like James said, 1 kosong pun satu kosong lar janji menang 3 mata. Better menang than draw like some other team....

Rooney scored his first goal for the season, He looks sharper now and his match fitness has improved. I m sure we will see more goals from him.

Hah, Ronaldo's back flick shot on goal was classic but sayang he was offside. He some more kena elbow until needing 4 stiches on his head. MU had to play the last 8 mins with 10 men when Ronaldo got injured and was bleeding.

Damn!! This Hargreaves now injured with tendititis or tendontitis and will be out for 1 month? What penyakit is this?? Any loctor in the house to explain??

GGMU!! Next game 6 Oct - MU vs Wigan

yeah, possible for O'Shea or Anderson to be in midfield this weekend or maybe Rooney will drop deep with Saha and Tevez upfront. 4-3-3 formation.

Thank you for watching... Have you decided to switch camp and join the champion team - MU Fan Club.. hehe!!

Yeah, 4-0 is the first for the season. Pique, Simpsons and Anderson played well and their contributions did help the team to win by 4 goal margin... Yeah, ronaldo scored two (total now is 4 goals) and Tevez and Rooney are combining well with both also on the score sheet..

Respect Tevez for being so bullish and push the defense aside and scored the first goal for MU. He contributed a lot, chasing every ball and defending upfront... he can only get better...

With Vidic and O'Shea injured in the first half and Saha injured during warm up, just add into the casualty list for MU.

What a relief with the 2 week international break. At least for those injured players to recuperate and be back for the next game away with Aston Villa on 20 Oct.

Woohoo!! 2-4 away win for Man U last Tuesday night. tho could have avoided the two goals that the defence gave away.

Sad that Tevez didn't score. But he did good to assist Rooney upfront.

What can I say, the partnership of Rooney and Tevez is getting better each day. Ronaldo is back to scoring...

Sigh! when will Hargreveas and Saha will be back? I also miss Park. Well when they are back, there will be so much competition for the first team since Anderson and Nani is playing well too.

I watch the game at MU Cafe in Jakarta cos no live game on ESPN Indonesian Edition in my hotel room ( damn Astro bought the rights of EPL live games for Asia and banned other Cable channels in Indonesia from showing EPL live games even on ESPN channel in Indonesia. Astro is penetrating into Indo market that's why??)

What an atmosphere here? Was fun watching the Live game with so many Indonesian MU fans. The following are so big here. Simply fantastic eventhough it burned a hole in my pocket to fork out high price for drinks at MU Cafe. hehe!!

Tevez and Rooney combined to perfection, scoring three goal between them and with an early stunner from Nani, that goal was simply superb. The back flick from Rooney for Tevez first goal was fantastic. I am glad that Tevez scored 2 goals. Hargreaves is back and combined well with Anderson. Well MU looks to have cover in all areas except for left back.

Phew!! Chelsea whacked in 6 goals against Man City. Can't believe it. Are the blues back on form or what??

GGMU!! Good week for MU, now par on points with Arsenal who has 1 game in hand.

Next MU game will be the top of the table clash with Arsenal. Whoever win will sure to top the group. I believe MU can beat Arsenal this time.

United set to welcome back Park Ji-Sung
Park Ji-Sung could make his return to action for Manchester United during the Christmas and New Year programme.

The South Korean midfielder has not played for the Red Devils since suffering a knee injury against Blackburn in March but United manager Sir Alex Ferguson is optimistic he will be back in action soon.

Ferguson told Manchester United Radio: 'Park Ji-sung is now training with the first team and should be ready in a couple of weeks.

'He'll be back in the fold in about two weeks' time, I think.

'He's a terrific young player and his return will be a great boost for us.

'He gives us more options going forward, which is good news.'

Park could be involved as early as the home clash with Everton on December 23.

Kaka named FIFA World Player of the Year
ZURICH, Dec 17 (Reuters) - AC Milan playmaker Kaka added to his remarkable haul of trophies and titles on Monday when he was named FIFA World Player 2007.

The 25-year-old Brazilian international beat Barcelona forward Lionel Messi and Manchester United winger Cristiano Ronaldo in the annual poll of national team coaches and captains.

Kaka collected more points than the combined total of the other two nominees, world soccer's governing body FIFA said after the ceremony here. He won 1,047 votes while Argentine Messi gained 504 and Portuguese Ronaldo picked up 426.

Chelsea and Ivory Coast striker Didier Drogba was fourth on 209. Barcelona and Brazil playmaker Ronaldinho, winner of the award in 2004 and 2005, came fifth.

Congrats to Ronaldo for making the Top Three!!

No mercy for Keano when MU thumped Sunderland 4-0 at the Stadium of Light. Brilliant goal by Ronaldo's curling free kick and 2 goals from Saha (thank god he is back to scoring) and 1 goal from Rooney (at last he scored after his injury).

MU took the lead thru Ronaldo in the 1st half and the he missed the penalty in the 2nd half. The second goal could have sealed the game for MU. Two late goals from West Ham killed the game.

I must admit that I did not expect the scoreline to be 4-0 over Arsenal as I thought 1 nil would have be good enough.

MU started with 5 midfields with Rooney playing alone upfront. No Ronaldo, Giggs and Scholes.

Great football played on Sat nite and good win for MU. Hopefully after this heavy lost, Arsenal performance will continue to dip in the EPL.

GGMU!!

i think anderson will be a better choice now

A draw or defeat for MU in France tomorrow morning.

Lyon is not easy meat to chew.

However, I predict MU to progress to the next stage, maybe further.

well, not to say whether Man U is great or not, SAF does have the touch in making champions of the club, albeit every 2-3 years, then last another 2-3 years, before going down again a bit. however, i think it's almost time for Man U to shine again, with C.Ronaldo and W.Rooney getting more matured and the rest of the team gel up quite nicely. I do agree Scholes is getting old, and not the best, although SAF still thinks that he has that edge in BIG matches, like Giggs also. However, he should let Nani and Anderson take over. Carrick is over-rated, but with Hargreaves taking over/or covering, should be fine. the back four of Man U is currently playing well, with the most expensive defender in the world not doing silly mistakes like he used to. Man U certainly has the quality to take the Champions League, but for me, they will still have to play second fiddle to Messi and his team!!! :P

jerrychoo2004
02-25-2008, 09:17 AM
yeah it will be a dream come true should roanldo team come againts messi team
then we can see whose team is better :)
anyway it is a 5 star performance from MAN U last weekend with a 5-1 thrashing of Newcastle
however the highlight of the weekend is the horror injury suffered by Eduardo of Arsenal, hope the lad recover soon, looks like he will be sidelined for at least a year

Yeah!! MU winning 5-1 away is a real thumping. Good news is Saha scored that night (quite a nice goal tho). Rooney and Ronaldo can't stop scoring now, thats a good sign.

The other good news is that Arsenal drop 2 points vs Birmingham. I hope Arsenal's performance will dip further. Now is 3 points above MU. It is going to be tight.

He is lucky..its only a leg and nothing else broken. He will come back but im sure he will have a phobia for defenders after that.

Liverfool demolished

Liverfool outclassed
Pepe 'Sudah Tidur Lena' Reina butter fingers
Javier 'the gangster' (march like a rhino) Masherano red carded

Wah wah wah...who's calling names? Guess you people have not been to the stadiums of Premier Leagues teams in UK. If Socka were to hear the things that fans from both teams say or shout or sing...I think he will be thankful to watch these games on his TV.

Yes, that's football. And that's passion. I guess probably Socka or whoever out there feel offended by certain passionate remarks are not Premier League material. Probably the Super League in Malaysia suits him or them better but then again the fans in Super League are not as gentle as they seemed to be.

Well, that's passion. Passion means able to stomach the stingiest, the most 'pedas' of comments and able to also give the most critical evaluation of team performance.

Anyway, school boys material lah. Or should I say only Liverfool fans fall into this category.

Have a great, super EPL week.
