yes, I remember.... there was even a time you were absent once a week - when PE was on... I was really bad with PE as well, but because I at least pretended to try Mr. Ravi (PE teacher) let me be...

My attendance was almost perfect... but that doesn't mean I was in class... But I always have some teacher's permission to be out...

At school, PE was the best. In my time apart from foootball, hockey was always the game. we used to rush to the PE room just to choose the best sticks available. I still remember the sticks were all made in India/Pakistan and the Indian sticks carried the "Chakravarti" brand.

I still carry a scar just below my left eyebrow from being whacked by a hockey stick when the opposing player did a full swing during Form 3PE. needed two stiches that day, but didn't get the day off!

:o we did it too...made a poor little substitute teacher cry when we were in Form 2. i don't even remember her name, but she was no match for us.

i wasn't overly fond of PE (not too athletic) but i sure loved recess! zero-point, one-leg, and all other games (i even participated in kompiang with the boys). in ACS secondary, recess was a good time to hang out with my friends and chitchat (didn't really play games) while the boys went to play football.

i wasn't overly fond of agama either... :o was always envious in secondary that i had to go learn stuff while my non-muslim friends got a free period! i thought it was fairer in primary when they had the mandarin/tamil lessons during agama. that's where i learned to say "Sie sie lau sir, lau sir tzai tzien" (or however that might be spelled), waiting to get back into class after agama.

There were many addicts, flashers around that area and many passersby had came across these crooked dudes. So, early one morning, a coursemate of mine went into the lift with a smart attired good looking man to our class situated on the third floor. Immediately, he went on with his 'showmanship prowess' and my friend screamed hysterically inside and fainted. On hearing the scream, our lady principal and other students dashed to the lift but this buaya hastily escaped through the stairs then into the busy streets. :mad: :(

I remembered very clearly during my primary days long-long time ago, there were 2 drink stalls and an ice cream stall outside the fence of ACS field which opens during our sports practice time in the evening.

One day the two ladies who owned the drink stalls started fighting, pulling hairs, scratching the other's face. Then came the tearing of clothes and until one of the ladies got topless.
