Hello,
I was searching for an alternative for my husband who is suffering from first stage Parkinson's Disease. The doctors had said there was no cure. I didn't want to accept it. I didn't want my husband to be dependent on medications because I have heard about the side effects. I decided to do my own search. Along the way I discovered xanthones.
When I read about Xanthones and Parkinson's Disease, I was astounded. Perhaps this was the inspiration and the answer to my prayers. My inner prompting told me this is something that is good for my husband and for people's health in general.
Xanthones are the natural compounds found in plants. And the whole mangosteen fruit is the only one in the world with such a big concentration of xanthones. The 44 different xanthones with differing "side-groups" affects different organs in the body.
I found mangosteen juice and started on my husband with the 30ml dose 3x a day.He narrated better sleep, felt lighter and have less muscle stiffness.Since taking the mangosteen juice he has not been to the massaging and chiropractic centre for muscle treatment. He is more alert and I noticed that he is much happier with himself.
I have been suffering from foot spurs for the last one year. I was prescribed pain killer by my doctor. It did not help much. I went for my regular massage it provided relief but not for long. I started taking mangosteen juice two weeks ago and the pain has disappeared.I am amazed.
Considering the adverse and stressful environment we are in I decided for the whole family members to start taking it as a family elixir.God willing, I hope I am on the right track and so will be my friends.
Mangosteen juice for health.

every once in a while we'll see a miracle cure in a bottle... a few years ago it was Noni Juice, now Mangosteen Juice..
tomorrow it'll be something else..
by the way.. this is stated on their website (http://www.xango.com/learn/)
XanGo® Juice boasts a proprietary whole–fruit formula, harnessing a concentrated rush of xanthones—a vigorous family of next–generation phytonutrients. Sounds complex. But here’s the straight scoop. Research shows xanthones possess potent antioxidant properties that may help maintain intestinal health, strengthen the immune system, neutralize free radicals, help support cartilage and joint function, and promote a healthy seasonal respiratory system.*

if you eat mango, you don't have to worry about getting red getah/juice (that WON'T come out no matter how hard you scrub) out of your t-shirt... :D

We were in a Kuantan hotel some years back and there were signs prohibiting durians and mangosteens. When we asked they said they had problems with purplish stains in bed linen.
In Texas in early 2003 our 87-year old Mom was listness, probably from a lack of exercise because it was too cold outside. We started her on Xango and she perked up. Now my baby brother is a firm believer and has stopped taking medication for his high cholesterol, high blood pressure and gout. Recent tests for these conditions have come out normal.
Xango has come to Singapore last December as Xangosteen,

If you take 50 ml in the morning and 50 ml in the evening a bottle should last a week. That is somewhat high 'dosage.'
By American standards it is cheap and less dangerous because name brand cholesterol medication for a month (without insurance) would more than pay for about seven bottles of Xango. Am not sure whether Xangosteen is a diluted version of Xango.
It is ironic that a tropical fruit has to be processed by a German company and become too expensive for local consumption. I hope that an enterprising Malaysian outfit will jump in and do something for the local market.

It costs about $35 for one bottle, which would costs about $2.50 per dose....although you can it it on Ebay for about $25 per bottle but god knows what you are getting from there.

... Less than six months since doctors prescribing cholesterol medication usually wants a blood test every four months or so. Several points need to be taken into account: placebo effect and my kid brother's tendency to overdo things.
Several studies are supposedly to be underway. Unfortunately, since it is not a drug there is less of an impetus to get the experiments concluded and the results out for scientists to evaluate. There is ample anecdotal evidence of the beneficial effects. The company is banking on these testimonials to further their multilevel marketing goals.
Xango/Xangosteen is arriving officially in Kuala Lumpur on June1!

its not a slimming product. Its supposed to wash away the "bad radicals" in our body. Almost the same theory as Excel.
