work with music blasting away? either thru headphones or speakers?

surprisingly I can. Even with trance music.

But only MY own selection. plug in them ambience noise cancelling earphones, and thump away. kekekekeke

depending on what i do i guess... if programming, need soothing music...
but whatever it is, can't stand chatty radio programs while working - too distracting...

nowadays i just plug in my ipod if i don't like what's on the radio in the lab...

same with me... calculations with noise is okay.

but while studying or sleeping, i need absolute silence...

Reminds me of those SPM days when my parents are not allowed to watch TV when I'm studying in the room... hehe.

i need to study in front of the tv. for SRP, i studied in front of the TV, and sometimes even have my walkman (ok i'm old, yeah? back then it was walkmen) plugged in 1 ear plus the tv. SPM i was in boarding school so stuck just blasting my walkman full blast.

in college, when i needed to study really hard and concentrate, i would sit under a table in one of the libraries, in the grad student carrolls that i know is not occupied, on a floor that i'm sure there's about 3 people in, and i would have my discman (upgraded lah by then :p) and blast classical music while i study.

i'm odd i know. i can't even fall asleep if it's quiet. and vin can't stay asleep if the music stays on, so we have to compromise, have a cd on until i fall asleep then when the disc is over it's over. if i'm still awake then i just press play again so there's noise again. before i got married i slept with the radio or tv on all night (low volume, but i needed the noise).

mmm.. music...

exam periods are always filled with simple plan. yeah, while studying. especially moral. (Crazy seemed the most apt song for that subject)

but i can study either way, with or without.... also muchly depends on my mood and wheter im just flippin thru lecture notes, doing questions or summarizing for myself...

As long it's music and not noise, I'm fine with it. :)
