To answer the q: The founder of Internet is Vint Cerf. Not too long ago, I saw this forum on IDF (Intel Developers Forum), where Intel CTO (Chief Technology Officer) Pat Gelsinger interviewed Vint Cerf, and from the interview I knew one thing; internet today is very primitive.

you know what, my friend mentioned he has a book somewhere that did say who invented the WWW... he's bringing it in today/ tomorrow for me, so will check it and see...

come to think of it, i remembered from reading "angels and demons" that the web was born at CERN... and a quick check to their website, it did claimed to be so!
