Well as usual, our forumers have much to say, in the Pig Can Fly thread. I mentioned that kids from my school are very keen to play badminton but cannot afford to buy their own rackets, what more to say shuttlecocks. Some of them even use their slippers to smack featherless shuttlecocks around...
So... one forumer with a BIG BIG HEART contacted me and offered to sponsor some rackets and shuttlecock supply. with the money given, the kids benefitted.

Betong Division Badminton Overall Champion (MSS Betong, equivalent to MSS Manjung). The kids managed 3 golds, 2 silvers, 1 bronze and 3 fourth placings. We were in the finals for 5 out of 8 events. 8 of our kids (another record) were selected to represent Betong Division for the Sarawak State-level MSS Badminton tournament, next week.
We'll be travelling to Kapit for that. Yes, boat ride and all.
Compared to other school, most of our medal winners don't even own their own rackets. Their attires are all pinjam, even shoes pun pinjam.
Although the rackets sponsored by out BIG-HEARTED-FORUMER weren't used for the tournament proper, they were fully used during training since last year. The shuttlecock supply was vital.
therefore, this is our way to say THANK YOU!
