hello friends,
I am tired of working and bored of KL. Now it is time to embrace mother nature as Ah Boh said!!!

Ok. I am looking for people to join me as volunteers at the Sea Turtle Research Unit (SEATRU) programme.

We will be snorkelling, swimming, hiking, exploring at Chagar Hutang Beach, Pulau Redang, Terengganu, Malaysia. Besides, you will be doing some good work for Mother Nature. You can read more here http://www.kustem.edu.my/seatru/volunt4.htm

If you love the outdoor, sleep in huts by the beach and swim in the sea, you get to run away from your bosses for at least 7 days! haha

Interested? Registration begins in February 2007. Let's decide on the slot this month.

I suggest Slot E. May 1st and 2nd are public holidays. (Labour day and Wesak Day)... You will probably need to take 3 days o leave.

Oh Redang!! i've been wanting to go ever since 2 years ago!! sigh.... unfortunately i can't make it for this trip that you're planning Malc. Have planned my leave and none co-incides with the dates you've suggested. taking a long break in Aug. so sad i've to pass this time. do plan another one in 2009 k? doubt can make it in 2008 as well. taking a long break sometime in June. so, whoever's going, have fun! :) take lots and lots of pixies ya!

Registration is open in February.
I know not many people will be able to make it. To take 7 days of leave is difficult. The best week i can find so far is first week of May 2007.

I have one suggestion. All of you resign by the end of April and off we go!! hahahaha

yo..... the challenge is to find a suitable time. working adults can't really take time off but i can coz i kamching with my bosses.

I found the week with Labour day is the best so far for working adults.

Once the research assistant at SEATRU confirms our reservation, I will inform you to transfer RM 100 to my CIMB bank savings account: 0817 0011 392 524 (Farhan Wong bin Muslim Wong). According to their website, RM 100 is non-refundable. We will make the full payment (additional RM 400 for working adults and RM 200 for students on our first day at SEATRU.

I will need to forward the pre-payment fees to SEATRU ASAP within 14 days upon notification from SEATRU. I hope all of you will credit the RM 100 as soon as I announce we manage to book Slot E.
