www.gloomville.comThe status of this domain is now as REDEMPTIONPERIOD.
A domain name is placed in REDEMPTIONPERIOD status when a registrar requests the deletion of a name that is not within the Add Grace Period. A name that is in REDEMPTIONPERIOD status will not be included in the zone file. A registrar can not modify or purge a name in REDEMPTIONPERIOD status. The only action a registrar can take on a name in REDEMPTIONPERIOD is to request that it be restored. Any other registrar requests to modify or otherwise update the domain will be rejected. Unless restored, the domain will be held in REDEMPTIONPERIOD status for a specified number of calendar days. The current length of this Redemption Period is thirty calendar days.Dino, where did you first register this domain? Maybe you can go back to the original registrar and reactivate your domain name.

The other way is to place a backorder for gloomville. You can do this at snapnames.com. Otherwise, wait for it to expire in totality then re-purchase the name..

Well, i originally got it when i sign with a hosting site. But their service is horrible thus i never renewed it with them. I don't want to renew it with them anymore. So where do i go from there?

Depends on how much you want that domain in monetary terms.

If you want it badly and don't mind forking out some money, then go here: https://www.godaddy.com/gdshop/Domain_Alert/landing.asp?se=%2B&ci=258

If not wanting it too badly, wait for your domain to be struck off the Internet then buy it back from namecheap at USD8.88....

i think the redemption period runs for about 2 months or so...
if nobody is clamouring for it, then just wait till it's made available again...
then yeah, buy from namecheap.com (i buy mine from them)...

well, yeah, of course you have to pay for it...
but it's not too much ($8.88 p.a. with namecheap)...
and yes, at least it's now yours and to do whichever you want... ;)
