If you regard your caffeine habit as a vice and sinful, think again. Recent studies suggest moderate coffee comsumtion may be good for you.
How many cup(s) of coffee do you take in a day/week/year? Do you think it's a health drink?
I won't call it a health drink, but i see no serious harm in drinking it. Furthermore, espresso does wake you up when you feel sleepy at work.

When I am tired...no drinks can wake me up...not even red bull.
Research in The Journal of the American Medical Association found those drinking three cups a day were five times less likely to develop Parkinson's but I find it quite hard to believe. How about you?

I don't drink coffee everyday but only when i did not get a full nights sleep then i take 2 shots of espresso. Wakes me up in 15 mins. I use to think no drinks can wake me up till i tried 2 shots of espresso. Feel hyper all day also!!! :squeeze:

For me, it is more like habitual rather than addiction. NOrmally, when friend do come and visit me during office hours, we will end up at the coffee shop sipping coffee. However , I will try not to have more 3 cups, if not, my hand will start to shake... And I will stay clear from coffee, actually not only coffee, all caffeinated drinks, from 6 pm onward, if not, i will be foruming till too early in the morning......
cheers.

I dun take much coffee...once every few weeks. Coffee doesn't keep me awake, but if i take coffee for breakfast too early in the morning, my stomach feel uncomforable.

A Harvard School of Public Health study found men/womenwho drank more than six cups daily reduced their risk for Type 2 diabetes (I dunno what the heck it is) by 50 percent and women by nearly 30 percent.
Sure or not???

Thanks for the explanation. Now I know. :)
"Japan's Cancer Institute says 3 tp 4 cups daily may halve the risk of liver cancer."
"However, the British Dietetic Association warns against drinking more than this: excessive coffee consumption can make you feel jittery or be unable to sleep. Pregnanat women should limit themselves to two cups a day."
Whatever it is, I still need my morning 'cham' :)

Yep, maybe you have tasted it before. Actually, it's only famous because that particular kopitiam in Ipoh old town makes serves great white coffee and it came out in the newspaper. Most other coffee shop ones are not that fantastic, but people drink it because of the publicity and they may not know where to get the authentic one..

I just found the famous Ipoh Old Town white coffee shop in Jusco Tebrau City. The white coffee tasted just as good as the original coffee shop in Ipoh, but the price is much higher...RM2.50 per cup instead of the original RM1.00.
