T wei, nice pics. Most of these buildings in Kpg Koh will make way for the new highway. It's good to see these pics before they complete the highway with divider. It'll be difficult to cycle around kpg koh in future.

Nice pics T-Wei. So nice to see clear blue sky for once. Funny that you even take the time to snap "Hong's residence".Lucky didn't get a summon for taking pics while driving. That'll be a first for the police in Sitiawan I think.

hahhaa...true, true...wanted to go more places to take more shots but was too occupied by my cousin's new born baby....and nightly mamaks!!

I think Swan needs a make over and get rid of the ugly yellow color at Wisma Ganda. Thats really an ugly color.:sick:

I think Swan needs a make over and get rid of the ugly yellow color at Wisma Ganda. Thats really an ugly color.:sick:

Roads are now sooooo BAAAAD that it's toooo difficult to ride bicycles on them! Not like our schooldays back then!

great pics...I see the roads are getting higher. Already quite impossible to cycle on the roads I supposed. Looking at the photos do bring back frond memories. :)

The roads are being widened right to the doorsteps of the shops-lah. My mom said that they wanted to tear down half of some shops for the road widening project but decided against it.

thanks. major road upgrade, my dad told me it'll be four lanes when its completed..hopefully by CNY!

In every form of development comes its own brand of upsides and downsides - as for the downsides, traffic can go haywire as having 4 lanes throughout with road dividers may even stir up irresponsible "Mat Rempits" on the main road (who knows?) and even turning to my Mom and Dad's home shall definitely be a tough job by then.....

Nothing leh.....just that many more areas along Lumut road getting overdeveloped (there's a Secret Recipe as well as Econsave, and Giant Hypermart is gonna stamp its mark also along Lumut Road it seems, come early December) and I even got to see a future McDonalds just a bit b4 the Sekolah Bestari b4 the Pundut Chinese Cemetery lah........

I was pleasantly surprised to discover this nice pictorial thread by T-Wei
