Movie about doctors and lawyers a lot because they always screw-up or screw people (as in kenakan people)... accountants too. People like movies about crooks!!!

why don't you set one up yourself? just go to a forum, click on new thread, and specify that it's to be a poll... very easy...

He may not have a degree in engineering............but considering he dresses like one (e.g. only in neutral colours) we can assume he thinks he is one.

Yah! Very true! To be a Professional Engineer, normally ppl dont say "Professional Engineer". Those in this line will usually say "PE" and ppl will know already. So, this may be the first hint that he or she is not actually a real PE.
In Singapore, to be a PE is very hard. It is a very specialise line. Need to be an apprentice to a real PE for a certain period like 2 years and many other criteria that are very tough to meet, exams, etc. PE is higher than engineers, much like a chartered accountant compare with an ordinary accountant.
Heck, the Uni you graduated also need to be certified to be in compliance with the PE board in order for any applicant to be considered in the beginning....

hello robin,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,same here in Malaysia..................also need to have related working experience at least 3 years and finally an interview. i think soon we will implement CPD program.......You need to maintain a certain points annually by attending seminars so that they could keep their PE title.

agreed but all things are like that....."with great powers, comes great responsibilities" haha...watched too much spidey hahah...
but as a PE, you have the authority to refuse stupid designs from being implemented.....many tragedies could be prevented....so power can be used to do evil and good.
