No problem to hit 300km/h on the straights but am thinking how to do a 3rd gear corner at 140km/h ?!:amazed:
Here are some designs that I have so far, maybe you guys / gals can contribute / help me out with some better ones. Will even put up your name as "design by" on the bike.:D

I don't think affordability is the issue as the price of cars currently is so.. dem high.
Somemore now, Hire Purchases are available up to 70% with 5% interest for bikes.
I think people in KL claim that biking is much more dangerous than driving. However, I wish to disagree.

Next time you're down here, look me up and I'll take you around. Big bikes community is a small one and if you're active enough, you'll know the who's-who's of the biking community. Welly Sg. Buloh is one of the good place to shop, a bit pricey though. Welly Batu Caves is well known for its cockyness. I hate that place too.
Harley owners are not the kind of sellers you'll normally encounter. They are rich and might not be too keen to negotiate to a really low price. Unless you really like that bike and willing to pay THE price, or else it'll be one after another futile search for you Doc.
Heard this conversation today:
Mr.A : How much for your Yamaha R1 (year 2002)?
Mr.B : 65K non nego. (But with extras of course like dampers and exhaust).
Mr.A : Waaaa......but that's the price you paid when you bought it new in 2002?
Mr.B : That's about the going market price now. If you think it's expensive, get a new one then.
Mr.A : But a new one cost over 90K!
Mr.B : So, take it or leave it.

 The smart thing to do is to use the side stand..
Most fast bikes (like Naz's, Loi's, Justin's and mine) don't have double stand.
Most of the ones that have double stand are the Cruisers, the Big & Clumsy ones. Some of them like the Honda Gold Wing, Kawasaki Voyager, BMWs.... are too heavy to be on side stands and they even have 'Reverse' gears (funny but true) for their double stands to activate.

LOL....... I can really imagine that.
My bike used to weight 205Kgs and a couple was shocked when they saw me picking it up (after the bike fell cos I forgot to unlock the front wheel lock!) and put it back in position just like picking a bicycle. The secret is to use the proper technique and it'll be a breeze. Don't let the size scares you.
Bikes these days weigh a lot less. I can quite easily lift the CBR1000 from side stand position to upright with one hand. I surprised myself when I did it.

Well, for a dual-purpose bike like my previous one, you need to stand in the middle of the bike, one hand on the steering and the other on the rear. Push the steering towards the tank, bend your knees and lift it up like you're lifting weights.
As for Honda Goldwing, you need to stand parallel with the bike with your waist supporting the side of the front seat, shift to reverse, both hands on steering but with the steering shifted to the side where the bike is down, engage reverse, control throttle and the bike will slowly lift up by itself. It's always fun to see peoples eyes almost popping out when they see a skinny guy like me lifting up an elephant like Goldwing.
But for superbike like ZZR1100, sorry to tell you that I don't think there is a technique for lifting it up on your own. You'll need at least 2 strong guys.

Well, for a dual-purpose bike like my previous one, you need to stand in the middle of the bike, one hand on the steering and the other on the rear. Push the steering towards the tank, bend your knees and lift it up like you're lifting weights.
THANKS, that'll help (I can already feel my hernia just waiting to pop up and say hi....).

I am serious Chris. Me and Big Chief are trying hard to get more ladies on superbikes. Now, go and make us proud. Furthermore you're a Sitiawan gal. Most Sitiawan gals know how to ride a bike, so obviously the next step is to upgrade yourself to a higher range bike.
Here's a friend of mine (center) riding a Moto Guzzi 1000. She even rode up to Phuket

Funny, cos that's what a lot of wifes and gfs told their other half, but still they managed to convince them and their life has improved for the best.
Imagine riding, just the 2 of you to somewhere far away like Thailand or to the East coast for a holiday. Hugging each other and enjoying the view all the way.

What a race!
Rossi beaten by 2,000 of a second.
Strong fight between 3 riders.
Rossi, Kenny Roberts Jr. and Tony Elias.
Elias won by a whisker.
Easily the best and most exciting race in the history of motorcycle racing.
Now Rossi leads by 8 points.
