He was once known as Alan Hansen. Please rewind back to 1982 Form 2A1. There were 4 dudes who named themselves Alan Hansen, Kenny Dalglish, Ian Rush & Ray Clemence.
Ray Clemence - Hoo Lin Coln (He was the goalkeeper who singlehandedly inspired all of us to play striker - just to get a shot at him & the goalmouth)
Kenny Dalglish - Andy Soo
Ian Rush - Yeap Joo Seng
Alan Hansen - GONDOR from Lord of The Rings. You can see him running around with the hobbits back in 1982. There were 3 hobbits aka "ketot". Now 2 have grown quite tall. The other one is still a hobbit.

Ok . I think there was certainly a little confusion here, so lets set some matters right :)
[1] For your info, Ball ... what's wrong with being WH4? After all, you are da one who's gonna benefit in the end :P
[2] Lilian, I did fail Add Maths several times actually :( The only time I didn't fail it was in the SPM exam, because although I left the first section blank, somehow I managed to answer the second section miraculously :)
[3] And lastly, I'm happy that Ball and Lilian have found each other at last ... coz never until now, did I realise how well they complement each other :D

Su Tiong, what is this "W" that Hansen is talking about?
Hansen, I have had romantic feelings for Su Tiong since I was about 14. Every year when I came back to Sitiawan he used to take me out on his motorbike to eat pau at midnight. But he decided that because both our names have "Tiong" in it, we should not marry. Bad luck. So he married a model. And I got together with Botak. Ah Hu had to console and counsel me on unrequited love, although I was inconsolable. Alka tried to persuade Su Tiong to change his mind, but Su Tiong was resolute in his decision.

Ball, have you heard of the Sim City computer game? If u don't, it's about building a city from scratch which involves town planning. Your success is measured by the number of citizens that moves into the city and how happy they are with it.
Now, one aspect of the game is that is has the option for a "Natural Disaster" mode. That means, one random natural disaster such as earthquake or tornado could hit the city and you will have to deal with it.

Hansen
01-22-2005, 01:42 AM
Ball, why waste money eating at Tai Thong Rest? Even with staff discount of 20%, you won't see me eating a meal there. Basically, the food is da same standard as almost any Chinese Restaurant in Malaysia. What you're paying in premium for is for their waiter/waitress service which is nothing special actually. Of coz, if someone is paying for you, then it's another matter altogether.
As for the clubhouse, I would to think that our friends like Kelvin Ding, Joo Seng and Boo Kan would have been more suitable as club members due to their interest in chess, but that's a long time ago. As for opening it to ACS members, they are most welcomed to the place but I don't really expect even a few to actually enjoy it. Afterall, I don't see you at the place

You still get an annual increment of 4% whereas last year, my company took away my RM 600 monthly allowance, gave me an increase of RM 250 in basic salary and called that my increment!
And actually, da game centre doesn't really make ends meet. On da contrary, it actually widens both of the ends for me. You couldn't have hit the point any more accurately!
Before I set up this club of mine, it used to belong to a group of 6 directors. I was one of them and after what I went through, I promised myself that any business I set up for myself will never be in a partnership form to save myself some major headache.
I might have to break that promise in the future though ..... :(

Wahhh .... dis Su Tiong. I go absent for awhile only, come back in and find so many things being said about me.
Ball, here's a piece of advice. You don't do that to someone who holds almost 100% of your secrets ;)
My apologies for the absence. Was just way too busy with my schedule. Just opened a new outlet in 1-Utama Shopping mall. Had to get the place operational in just over a week and using only my free time to do it since I'm working in another company. In addition, with the deadline for my internet business transactions looming in the near future, Im about to go crazy actually.
Don't worry too much if I go absent again which is most likely if the Mid-Valley project goes through. Things are moving really fast at the moment, but I have no choice if I hope to seize the opportunities that are being thrown my way at the moment. Can't afford to have my competitors seizing them instead coz that would be quite fatal for my plans.
Hopefully when all the pieces are all in play, I can take a short rest and smell the roses once more :)
Heard that Victor Gong is in?
Amelia, Mona, Audrey ... and all you rest. No need to paiseh if you want to gatecrash into my house wan leh. (Actually, that's my mom's house) Am looking forward to meeting all you people one day. Hopefully by then, I would be as thin as Kelvin or Joo Seng ;)

It's a club, scheduled to open in June, located behind Shangri-la Hotel, to cater to ladies who need to relax after long hours of shopping / working. Instead of rushing home in the heavy traffic jam, they can de-stress via traditional massage or sing karaoke. Amelia, sometimes when you think about it, I think da guys are the ones who really got punished when Eve ate that apple. Gals just need to find a good husband and then settle down to have family, their "labour pain" restricted to 9 months. Da guys have to work their butts out day in day out ( excluding butts selling ) just to live up to their "man of da house" title.
So you can understand why Su Tiong and I need to be just a little bit more enterprising compared to the rest.

Basically, it's like fantasy chess except that the pieces are not restricted to the board and the models action are based on probabilities. For eg : a mounted knight ( weapon skill 4 ) will require a 6 sided dice roll of "3,4,5 or 6" to hit a warrior ( weapon skill 3 ) while that warrior who has a lesser weapon skill will require a 6 sided dice roll of "4,5 or 6" to hit that knight in return. This is just a battle between 2 individual models. In the real game, this is translated into a huge unit of 12 knights for eg, charging into a huge unit of 24 warriors or more .... hence the multiple dice rolls.
The game is about combat simulation.
That however, is just the gaming aspect of the hobby which branches into 2 other different areas, which is model collecting and model painting.
Some hobbyist are pure collectors and they collect models which are nice, or rare or just to add to their collection.
I'm a painter gamer collector, which means that I paint, collect and play the game. It looks daunting to paint the small miniatures at first, but with the amount of references available and tips on how to paint, an individual can be a good painter within 2 months. I have almost 15 years of painting experience, and once you've established yourself in the internet, most overseas client will come back to you to have their miniatures painted. Good side income, I would say but not necessarily good as a primary income.
As for the carving ( actually, its sculpting ), I don't really have time to branch into that area as I'm more into games designing, so hopefully I'll get to release my own games into the market in the near future ( if I find the time to complete writing the gaming books )
Hope that shed some light on what I'm doing. If not, I'll continue to explain later :)

As a matter of fact, at the Tai Thong HQ office, the ratio of guys to gals is nearly 1.5 : 8.5 .
I can think of a few reasons why the ratio is widening in Selangor :
[1] More guys are opting for a sex change. This could be due to :
[a] Gals get 2 months maternity leave. Guys only get 1 week paternity leave.
[b] You have numerous ladies nite promotions. Have any of you heard of guys nite?
[c] Gals getting freebies at Ball's spa. Guys getting ignored :sad-2:
[2] Gals mortality rate is better than guys due to :
[a] Guys having more work stress and lesser chance to de-stress.
[b] Guys needing to smoke and drink more than gals due to more work stress.
[3] More gals are leaving Kelantan and Terengganu to settle in Selangor due to sex discrimination.
[4] More guys are committing crimes in Selangor and are either behind prison bars or banished to other states. Have you heard of any convict being banished to Selangor?
[5] Chances are higher for guys to win political positions in other States than in Selangor where key political positions are slowly being usurped by ladies.
[6] I'm poor in Biography, but I believe too many chromosoms of a single type is being produced, causing a biasness in genes which is leading to the production of more gals.
Ok . That should explain the ratio a little :)

Hansen, the club is currently for ladies. The new wing for men is pending approval from the local authority. Please don't do any sex change. The freebie is yours, after the above approval. BTW, can I use your survey for my company?

...[a] Gals get 2 months maternity leave. Guys only get 1 week paternity leave...
I don't think it's 1 week. 3 days only. Anyway, it's not a compulsory for all companies to practise that yet.

guys don't have to carry for nine months-lah or go through labour pain...guys believe me, count yourself lucky on this one....so all in all, 2 months is a fair exchange for all that...and lagi plus, plus which the gals have to bear also-lah. I am not undermining the importance of the guys but somehow, the it's a little heavy on the gals' side the before baby come part-lah.

Will try to start production next year. Too busy at the moment as I'm hardly at home due to work schedule. Anyway, budget is always the main concern.
