Not really because the loser of this match will finish at the 2nd spot in the group. This means the next opponent will most probably we England.

On the other hand, I think they reserved some strength and rested a few main players. Why fight the Germans when you are expected to lose? Might as well conserve energy and prevent the main players from getting injured or suspended.

Well, they slowed their game in the 2nd half but still struck the post twice. It was just a professional performance in the second half, keeping the ball and not giving the Swedes any opportunity to strike.

Luckily Larsson missed the penalty or else that would have given the Swedes a chance for a great come back.

Looking forward for Germany-Argentina game. Should be mouth watering.
