got tired of law & working. ;) wanted to do something different & interesting, and stumbled across it at an education fair. also, got influenced by watching too much CSI and those forensic documentaries on Discovery channel. besides, it looked really interesting - the chemicals, fingerprint powders, superglue fuming, DNA, etc.

hahaha...guess what the definition of Forensic Science is?
"Science in the service of law"...ironic eh? the classes were fun, didn't have to force myself to pay attention or study much. For the most part, just had to use common sense. Was a bit rusty in the biology and chemistry section, but luckily, just had to memorize some chemical structures, names and reactions. The death investigation and medico-legal courses were the gory ones. muahahaha...

I have lived in quite a few places in the last 20 years or so. From Dublin to Galway, Castlebar (all in Ireland), and then to Haverfordwest, Coventry, Luton, Lancaster and now Hull. Yeah life is better in the South. Interestingly, the pop group Beautiful South is from Hull! Anyway, do you still have any contacts with Halifax? I still remembered my rather uncomfortable overnight National Express coach journey there on 22 May 1998!

Yeah life is better in the South. Interestingly, the pop group Beautiful South is from Hull! Anyway, do you still have any contacts with Halifax? I still remembered my rather uncomfortable overnight National Express coach journey there on 22 May 1998!

Summer of '97 - spent a week at my aunt's cottage in Dartmouth - we went crabbing and some of my friends got crapped on by seagulls. heheheh, that was sooo funny!

Hmm ... on 22 May 1998, I was on a coach to Halifax which stopped over in nearly every single town in South and West Yorkshire you can think of.

Let's explore other options as well for Cornwall. We are planning to be there in the weekend of 12 / 13 August although this may change if my completion date is pushed back.

yes, i like the camping idea too. pete and i have a tent each, so you're free to borrow one. if pushed back, try to avoid the bank holiday weekend as you'll wish you were never in cornwall! honestly, the traffic is bad, with our fantastic Cornish "highways"!

You can BBQ at mine, only a small place, but how big can your bums and bodies be???!
Teik kok, you and hu shan can go for B&B if need be, though much better if you camp.
let me know once you get teh dates finalised.

and halifax? not been there since i left in sept 1998. I do go to Leeds every 3-4 months for my Masters though. Loved Leeds.
Next there on 17-22 sept.
