Hi Lynee, I'm from Class of '91. Just some advice - Did you CC the letter to HR? Most importantly, did he keep the letter? If so, that would indicate his acceptance of your resignation. In any event, if you have followed the company's handbook or policy in tendering your resignation, you can stop coming to work at the end of the notice period. Just make sure you update your tasks, make a status report on each task, and hand them over to your boss or the person that will take over your duties. Constantly remind your boss as to when your last day is. :)

thanks for the tip, crys. but i'm not working in some big company. only working in a legal firm. so things are a little more flexible. i gave the letter directly to the managing partner of the firm and yes, he did keep the letter. however he's persuading me to stay. end of this month should be my last day but i informed them that i'll extend till 18th aug. and still he wouldn't let me go. said that i can go for a long leave and come back to work, as long as i come back to work. *scratching head*

you really make sausages? that's impressive. made any Sweet or Hot Italian Sausages? can't find them in any of the supermarkets here.....they're soooo yummy with marinara sauce.


oh i've just seen the list and pics in the underground thread. awesome. I'd say go for it....one can hardly find such a variety of sausages in supermarkets nowadays. they usually only have the frankfurters and cocktail ones...boring stuff!
