Oky doky folks... here's an opportunity for all u stress-obssessed '99ers to let ur hair loose n lepak d night away!

Objective #1 :
Its a gathering for memories' sake so in the name of friendship, all is welcome and all is asked to bring just urself (no need presents) and lotsa smiles for everyone :)

Objective #2 :
We will simultaneously celebrate all June babies birthdays, namely me :) + James + Alven + Reza + Sarah. If i've left any1 out, pls oh pls lemme know asap k!

Date : 3rd June 2006 (Saturday)
Time : 6pm to until everyone konks out
Place : Prima Setapak Condominium, Off Jalan Genting Klang, Setapak, 53300 KL.
Directions : If u are coming from KL city, go towards direction of Kuantan till u reach General Hospital, proceed to Bulatan Pahang n Jln Pahang, go straight to Jln Genting Klang where along d way u will see several landmarks on ur left in these sequence - Tawakal Hosp, drivethru McDonalds, Copurts Mammoth, Lutheran Church, petrol station, a row of 2nd-hand car dealers, KFC, Kenny Rogers. Now, u turn left just before Kenny Rogers and go straight in for a short distance. The beige/orange colour 24-storey building in front of u is Prima Setapak Condo. Once there, gimme a buzz n i'll escort u to my apartment. :)

Fuh... i know it's a bit far off fm our usual meeting place. All I can offer is a large n peaceful apartment with no one but myself living in it at the moment, plus freeflow drinks (bring ur own alcohol if u wan) n titbits (we'll probably order dinner or eat at the local makan place, its up to u all). And of course the swimming pool (10am-10pm) is all urs to use as long as u bring swimming attire :)

Seems like THE FIRST WEEK of JUNE is perfect for (almost) everyone...guys! No pressing work deadlines/stupid exams etc etc looming.

nonono, it's not that i don wan the 'old ones'... just that: guenboh's place is limited in space; bigger number of ppl means greater hassle in logistics, planning, food, cleanup n etc; and i'm not really the party animal type, so a not-too-big number of ppl is more attractive to me. no offence to the 'old ones' k...

1) What to eat?
Opt#1 As host, I cud order sumtin in advance n evry1 contribute b4 go back. If u choose this, lemme know budget n food preference.
Opt#2 Potluck style – every1 bring sumtin lah. If u choose this, please announce food offering to avoid duplicates.
Opt#3 Mamak style – every1 go nearby makan stalls for dinner.

2) What to do?
Opt#1 Olympic size pool = Swimming! Pool games dunno allowed or not, we’ll see. There’s a basketball court, squash court n reflexology path too, if u wish.
Opt#2 Chatting n catching up with friends, throw in some card games or board games or anything impromptu & crazy u can think up.
Opt#3 Wrestling match between kcm & hawk, enuf said. Hehe… kidding!

3) What to keep?
There are no options here, dear friends. Just a piece of advice, life is short so dun let ur priority be “make money”, let it be “make memories”. So the answer is...Memories… keep it well for it will last a lifetime J

Im concerned about Muslims and vegetarians but everyone is welcome to bring snacks/junkfood/etc. I think I will be making my fruit punch n fruit jelly, maybe some cute lil' sausage cocktails too if I have time. Any1 wan to come early to help me out are most welcome :)

I went to a waterfall at Ulu Yam yesterday.
It is good to escape from the hectic working life in KL.

We can go to Ulu Yam during the day - about 10am from Guen Boh's place and back in the evening or after lunch.

I found one quiet spot. Not many people if we are early.
The crowded waterfalls have better facilities like changing rooms la...

I refuse to mislead u guys further by using the title POOL PARTY...coz i dun think anyone even bothered asking about the location of the pool :p This piece of story (story-teller? ooooppps...seems like i'm creating some kind of reputation here...i'll just look at it optimistically *wink*) is actually for my mass emailing to all those who attended...so share here oso la. and Boh...we expect to hear more from u too...

After months and months of planning up gatherings that never materialized, we finally had our KL Class of ’99 Gathering last Saturday (3rd June ’06)! =D

We had a total of 16 people! It was quite a good number after using all modes of getting the word around (mass-mail, forum, friendster, sms…etc etc). We even had some last minute confirmations & all…but, its all good

On behalf of everybody, a great big “Thank You” to Guen Boh who offered her place in Setapak as our venue (second time in 2 years) & playing a good hostess…and thanks to all 16 people who turned up safe & sound in Prima Setapak from all over (despite getting lost & even from as far as Kuantan – thatz further than seremban lohhh - Bravo Leela!now…that’s the spirit) - it WAS A GREAT SUCCESS!

People started trickling in from 6pm onwards…best part is everyone was so busy catching up - that we had NO NEED/TIME to use the pool, watch vcd/dvd, play any games. All that we did was chat…chat…chat…and Eat whole night long. From pizzas (and we had SIX different flavours of ThinCrust Domino pizzas - yummy) to home-made cocktail, salad, and jelly; to the Banana-Choc cake! And not forgetting all the never-ending blinding camera flashes. The ‘party’ lasted till 11+ (would have lasted longer and we realy could have gone-a-yacking till wee hours of the morning even if not for the fact that everyone had some other plans/ wantd to be home at a reasonable hour).

Sieh Jin, though he was the last to arrive due to transportation-problem, was ever so sporting to summarize to us his details of proposals, and we even had a performance as he played a little bit of the proposal-song on Guen Boh’s piano {for details…there’s always the story he posted in the forum ;)}

And many others who shared some personal stories…its always good to share views and catch up with each other! Once again…a heartfelt ‘Thank You’ to all the attendees, who are:
