over the weekend, my cg mates and i went for a short retreat. trying to "re-ignite" our group. it was to me, a situation of a case of taking one another for granted.

so, there we were. with kids in tow. not too many. 11 adults + 4 kids. with food, of course :)

anyway, a few of us had a great time playing with 2 of the kids. one is four. the other is slightly younger. hide and seek, AEIOU etc. the younger kid, not appreciating what it means to play hide and seek will come running towards you whenever you ask "where are you hiding?" ha ha ha

in the night, we had a good time telling "bad" jokes and sharing. it took us close to 3am before deciding to sleep.

the next morning, after breakfast, we had another round. more honest sharing. of course, without the jokes. ran out of jokes in any event.

conclusion: good. a good trip. it definitely rekindled our friendship :) just sharing

we should have one of these for the 89ers too. get smurf to ogranize one...

it's actually a good idea. we had it a few years back with flora and guat lin - went to visit penang and got caught up with bee sock and her family. i think organized sometimes tricky - may just have to do small groups, or do informal ones like book your own room etc.

no plans yet to go back in july. but what are the dates we might be looking at? i can try to "persuade" smurf to organise :)

will do. probably a tight time frame in kl though. have to rush back to sitiawan cos mom going for eye-surgery. i think we're scheduled to arrive in kl on july 4th. that's midweek though. u'd still be in spore rite?

like i said to daboss, we're arriving july 4th, but if cannot meet then, have to take a rain check till after i go home to sitiawan. probably weekend of the 22nd.

M'sia hols from 27/5 -11/6. Spore hols from 27/5 - 25/6. Could be anytime within the month of June, haven't plan yet. But maybe i'll go visit my uncle in Sabah, if can manage to get the cheap Air Asia ticket.

Hope that some dates in June/July may be favourable for me - if so, u all may count me in as well - I am a 4-wheeler on Klang Valley roads nowadays instead of being a biker as I used to be....
