How often do you eat instant noodles?

Back in India..almost everyday..
morning breakfast..fried version...
night time leh...soup or modified....
Best is just put hot water onto Cintan and leave it for 5 minutes(usually I can't wait that long)...jeezuz....it is delicious....

man all this talk makes me want to eat some for lunch. but i already ate my indo mie for lunch on monday - so technically (this is my own rule) i have to wait until next week to eat...

yeah i miss boston's chinatown something bad. it was so convenient, can stop by there after work, or else just a 10 minute T ride...i can get some things here but ohio is big lah. must drive 45 minutes to get to my fav international grocery, and so we only go there like once every 2-3 months on a weekend. and during the weekend, wah this shop is SO full of people some more! all of us homesick internationals go there lah. that's where i get my serai, kari leaf, banana leaf, Lingam's Cili sos, etc... (sometimes they even have Indomie!!)

You guys are so lucky..we have to carry all the instant noodles of various flavours with us when we go over India..that time no maggi mee yet....Don't know how valueable those instant noodles becomes when it rare and scarce...imagine can sell each packet for more than RM 5 !!!..worth it's weight in Gold....
Then came locally produced Maggi mee in India in 1987...wow what a relive...but the taste is horrible..the only way to eat India's Maggi mee is to modified it or fried it...taste much better....those were the good days....:p

jim - once i tried Maggi Mee Garam Masala flavor from india that i saw at an Indian grocer here. my goodness, it was TERRIBLE!!

i definitely just fried it up after that, cannot eat it again... :D

me...prefer cintan (curry flavour) to maggi...but for other flavours, maggi's da best :) but for curry flavour...cintan gets thumbs up from me still!

me ahh...a bit screwed up! when i'm away from home...its once in a blue moon (wic is what i voted). coz i know i can easily get addicted & never stock up. only exception when too cold brrrrrr....and i wanna have something hot, go 7-11 & pick up a packet :D

but when i go back s'wan...i will be like "ma...can we have maggi-mee today". :blink: :wacko:
