i met a lady at class last night - she's a 95er. what a small world eh?

anyway, i told her about this forum and she immediately said that she already knows the existence of this forum. i then asked if she has joined and she said "no". however, she admitted that she's been in very often and even asked if i'm alkapocino. i told her to register and find out for herself...

any idea why some people feel so shy to register and participate. why read posts regularly as a guest when you can register and participate ???

comments?

Eh, serious or not or you just cooked up the story. Who is this gal, do I know her? Die, talk too much in the forum got lurkers..later become stalkers.

My tips: If you wanna have fun but want to remain anonymous be like arch-an-gel. Arch-an-gel, don't be too happy...we will find out who you are?

They are just shy to put in some words and rather come in and read those threads. Or maybe they think that they are not famous enough to be noticed during school days. I have the same thoughts too when i first came in. Not knowing who knows me not. But once i saw Ray, i just hantam. And since i have my famous tai ka jea name to be support... not bad. Here i am now. They just need a head start. Sekali cuba hari-hari mau.

I agree with SiewJang. Think most people just shy away because they don't see their kaki in here. Either that or they have something to hide...oh come on...

Initially, I felt sien to post coz not getting much response from my yearmates and even those who post, I don't know well. When I see Kochun and Jang posting without a care in practically every thread and some of these people don't even know them, I decided to join in and have fun. No regrets!

All you lurkers out there, you don't need to know anyone or have a clique to start posting. Treat it like the chatrooms, you don't always know everyone... Thanks to this forum, I get a second chance to be aquainted with people I missed during school days like siewjang, songcm, happyghost...etc.

What are you waiting for? Register today!!!

You may. Would say you are one of the pioneer members who helped keep this forum moving in its early days. Many thanks for your participation and support (on behalf of daBoss). :)

is that like the "loyal pioneer" ??? ;)

well personally, i have enjoyed this forum very much. every night i check before bed, every morning i check when i come to work... da_boss and everyone who had a hand in creating the forum, and everyone who's been participating and supporting it has really done an excellent job!! kudos! and for those whose years aren't overly active, take a look at '92. we started slow, but now we are getting the word out and trying to get as many as we can involved (big thanks to people like kochun, jang and miki who have contacts everywhere!). so don't give up. keep on keeping on.

like i told hisham ('90), we in '92 will adopt anybody so if you feel homeless can come and kacau us anytime... :)

Zaman sekarang where got house key anymore. Use voice recording. "OPEN DOOR", "DOOR CLOSE", "LIGHTS ON", "SHOWER ON" and if you go idle for 5 minutes in your shower, the water will turn off by itself. You have to shake the shower head to activate the water again :D

i think most time when i login, there would be say, 6-8 users plus 4-6 guests...or more!
are these guests lurkers..? or just members no time to login so just have quick check what's going on..?

Some of the so-called "lurkers" may be that of Google's robots since this site is hosting its advertisements.

nope... most of the time, these lurkers are not spiders (i.e. robots).

just perform an ip check on them and they're none of the common spiders.

conclusion - the 'guests' that you see are a combination of realy people and spiders (i.e. programs) - but mostly real people...
