in the initial posts leading to this thread (and even in the first posting to this thread), i stated that it is open to all but i was concentrating on class of 92 first. was trying to get the initial numbers to confirm. then get these ppl to call more.

i'm not into changing of venues at the last minute, but if someone can come up with a good suggestion before then end of the day, we can seriously consider. reasons for change are as follows,

1. mamaks tend to be crowded, so we might not be able to be congregated together. (unless i inform them earlier, which is what i intend to do)
2. wifi connection is definately a plus
3. location must not differ too much. many may have decided to come due to the easy access of the venue.

dun worry too much about this matter... end of the day, the mamak will serve us fine. the idea is just to get together anyway. afterall, this will not be the last gathering. OK? we will come to a final decision by the end of today.

true true.... the only problem is getting tables together. i am still fixed on dahroos unless someone can come up with a good suggestion.

i did have requests for hoxes again though, but food there might be a bit on the expensive side.

pengat pisang is when you cook the pisang in i believe brown sugar and some coconut milk. i never actually paid attention to when my mom made it but i can ask her for the recipe if you want, euj.

also, for pisang goreng - you need ripe plantains. for the batter, rice flour, a little garam, 1 egg, water (enough to make into a batter). that's the basic. you can also add baking soda or baking powder to the batter but only a bit if you want to give it a bit of puff. you must use rice flour to be traditional. or you can always buy the adabi tepung goreng pisang next time you are home. hope this helps... vin likes pisang goreng but actually prefers cucur kodok.
