How bad is HFM in M'sia? Any kindergarten get close down order yet?
Seems quite bad in S'pore. The current HFM strain is deadly. Teacher's are monitoring children for HFM sign daily. So far no death reported in S'pore, but i think M'sia got a few, right?
I'm quite worried as both my kids below 10.

Funny but this HFM onli reported death from the east Malaysia onli lah...There is endermic of HFM occuring here...So just becareful lor...Today early morning got a call from my FIL saying Manjung Hospital got confirmed HFM patient..so my wife decided not to sent my youngest to Tadika today and some more he is not well...

3 years back, my daughter was diagnose with mild HFM. Sign to look out for, lost of appetite caused by mouth ulcer, chicken pox look-alike on the palm and foot.

Spoke to a friend from Kuching last week, amongst other preventions, it is advisable to drink lots of water.

Now I also scared to bring my daughter out liau... :(

How serious is HFM anyway? Didn't really follow reports in papers-laa.

Always make sure that the are clean.
Wash their hans & legs a few times a day
Avoid eating out too often.

Avoid tadika for how long? Dun know how long this HFM going to last. Let's hope the ministry and school teachers will monitor thoroughly.:worried:

This is one reason mah but the actual one is he cannot wake up lah after 1 week of holidays....:p

And use HFM as an excuse...somemore mummy daddy both doctors. His teacher must be getting worried.
