Very soon this trend will be in M'sia.
Pre-school children going for tution & etc.(can you imagine that)
Parent are super-kiasus
Pressure on children is growing
Higher expectation of parents & society
Children living & trying to meet their life for parents & society expectation.

As a child, the don't know what is life. There is no meaning & reason to live anymore.

I'm thinking in five to ten years, Sitiawan wont be like that anymore if the so-called pembangunan keeps up. Everyone just wants to go to Fajar or Giant or whatever. No more playing in the drains (all covered up). No more exploring in the hills behind Teluk Batik (all turned into condos). Spiders also all lari.:crying:

It means there are more to life than studies and books and whatever else kids categorise as 'not fun' and I am making sure my kids know fun even if it kills me.

Alreadi happening in Boleh-land, form 5 student jumped of 3 floor after failing SPM. so sad...
Kesian kids these days, there's a tuition centre 2 doors away from my place and I see kids as young as standard 1 going for classes. Most classes end at 10 pm! Where got childhood? When I was tat young, I sleep by 9 pm. Kids sleep at 12 midnight these days.

the other day i saw in the television, japan have roof gardens..
so they have playground and gardens on the top floor of the apartment building.. and then here in KL also got condominium with private garden Armani Terrace..

that's actually one of the reasons why singapore children start committing suicide.. they just know how to face the computers...
